FOC 2007

Hey peeps!
I'm back!
I made it!
*wahahaa*
The camp was fun. Everything was great.
But there were dull times, of course.
Nevertheless, I still enjoyed myself and made lotsa friends...
My OGLs were a bunch of nice and fun-loving souls. They helped us loads in completing the tasks and challenges, and proved to be veri helpful and encouraging.
The planning commitee of the FOC were simply superb. They were realli creative and put in huge efforts to ensure the success of the camp.
So throughout these 3D2N, we played lots of games, cheered like nobody's business, ran ard like crazzy monkeys, and for some, they simply juz threw the issues of pride and image away and let their enthusiasm take over them.
This, I can never achieve. *heehee*
Probably it's becoz I'm from poly??? I found tat the extremely enthu ones were from JCs, while the more laid-back ones were from poly... *laughz*
I was rather sianz during most of the time, but I got rather high during the mass dance at the finale night. *wahahahz*
We all danced ourselves mad, imagined we were at St James' clubbing but without any alcohol. *lolz*
Aniwae, I'm glad I went for the camp.
If there's ever a chance, I hope I can join the club and become an OGL... *hahahz*
But first, I muz get myself high first.
I've got one whole year to warm up.
So yeah. *kekez*
Below are some pics I took during the camp. Pardon me for some of the blurness. I can't believe I forgot to bring my DC. So juz appreciate them for the time being, while I try and upload the nice and professional pictures taken by a professional senior using a professional camera.

Our dinner. *tsk tsk* Horrible food. Dint finish them. Thankfully, there was buffet on the last night, which made up for the previous disastrous lunches and dinner. =)

During the Amazing Race @ Day 2...

We travelled ard Singapore, went to places like JP, Clementi, Queenstown, Tiong Bahru Plaza, Novena Sq, North Point and Chua Chu Kang.

We played games, completed tasks set by the station masters, and basically had fun all da way.
Of course, we cheered like nobody's business. Tat's one of the basic things to do while you were in camp. *hahahz*
The making of Bart Simpson's dessert, Under the Umbrella, for the grand finale presentation on the last night of camp...

These were the three who did most of the job. The rest were either sitting and lazing ard or busy taking pictures. Like me. *hehheh*

Shereen & me... She's the only one I know who's got the exact same modules as me. *hahahz*

Ubrina & me. She's also taking the same modules, but major differently.

...BEFORE...

...DURING...

...AFTER...

During the finale night's presentation, it was entertaining, especially from this grp of peeps. Tat guy was wrapped in toilet papers and towel. He spoke and acted in a sissy manner. Which reminds me pleasantly of Lester. *hahahz*

Hey Leslie! Seems like you found your soulmate!!! *wahahahz* No offense lah, dude.

Coming to the end of the night was the mass dance. The music was great, the ambience was erm, so-so, but it's the people who made it SUPERB.
Like I said, we danced like mad, enjoyed ourselves to the max.
It's like clubbing at the hottest club, except tat there wasnt any alcohol. Shucks.

After the dance, which ended ard 1:30AM, we were shagged, but we still went out for supper.
Thanks to our OGLs, who sacrificed their beauty sleep and led us outside NIE to this coffeeshop (although we got a little lost), and we had roti prata, the only food tat's available at 3 in the morning. *hahahz*
So we slacked and chatted for an hour plus before heading back.
On the last day, we had debriefs, some prize-giving ceremony, seemingly endless of cheerings and games, and of course, groups and companies pictures.
One of the games required the contestants to eat as many chili as possible. I mean, realli swallow them and stuff lyktt.

The guy in white ate in total 18 chili padi can!!! His face was fricking RED at the end of the game. So obviously, he won. But three cheers to Sulaiman (the one in red, my grp) who choked up 7 chili padi. *claps!!!*

Aniwae, there's always separation after every gathering.
The camp has officially ended.
And my bag was heavy.
Thank GYM for dad, who came to pick me up and waited for 2 whole hours at the carpark. *hahahz*
*** *** ***
Home sweet home, man.
I miss BeBe.
BeBe misses me.
She literally went berserk upon seeing me, and started sniffing me like mad. *lolz* Love her.
I slept for 13 hours straight until this morning, when my mum had to practically shake me to wake me up. *muahahaz*
Tat's the thing abt camping.
You'll lack in sleep.
And more sleep.
But 13 hours wasnt enough for me.
I need more to recuperate.
Till then, ta-da!!!
=)
p/s: I can't wait for Friday to get my timetable!!! Praying real hard tat I'd get a good one. *crosses fingers*
p/p/s: Super sorrie again for the poor quality of the pictures. I tried my best. *hee*

Teambonding: Amazingly Fun!

Today's teambonding activities were realli fun...
Most of us were pretty enthu, which made the whole thing more enjoyable.
In my group there were 23 of us, and we were going to hafta stick together for the rest of the year to do this GESL (Group Endeavours Services Learning) project... some community service thing which sounds pretty fun...
Aniwae, we named ourselves Bravehearts. Cool, isnt it? *hahahz*
So, for the four hours, we played lots of ice-breakers and did an amazing race ard the campus...
Some of the stations were pretty classic (go thru the hoops in a circle...arrange ourselves according to birthdates without talking...blah blah blah...)... and at one point everything became a mess and we juz anyhow skipped the stations and in the end, we still got the clues and completed the race... *hahaz*
We managed to solve the puzzle eventually, and after the debrief, we were free to go!!!
My friend and I were soo damn fricking hungry tat we gobbled down the sandwiches they gave us and still not full.
Went to Jurong Point to haf KFC... *hahahz*
I can assure you... Jurong Point is sooooooooo going to be my next hangout place.
Like, seriously.
That was my maiden trip to JP, and it was okie lah... More things to shop and eat than at WS...
We shopped ard but can't buy anything coz we were both broke... We were waiting eagerly for our pay to come lor...
Pay, pls come faster, I beg you!
Aniwae, I dun think I can spend as freely as I want this time round.
Need to save save save for my 3rd and 4th years...
So, tat's all for now.
You will hear from me next monday, after I come back (hopefully in one piece!) from my camp...
And I'm soooo looking forward to it.
*hahahz*
Dun be amazed by my sudden enthusiasm...
Told you, I'm going to change my attitude towards skol life now...
I was tooo dead and dull during TP years, and I dun want tat to happen again.
So this time round I'm gonna be more active in school activities and in the meantime, make more friends and widen my pathetic social circle...
*lolz*
p/s: I'm sooo gonna miss BeBe for the days and nites I'm away... *tsk tsk*

The Simpsons Movie

Yippie!!
There's no skol today, so dun hafta wake up early.
But I still woke up early. *hahahz*
By 11.59am, I positioned myself in front of my laptop, stared at the clock until it struck 12.00pm, and I logon to the NIE portal.
It was time to register my modules.
I'm not kiasu or wadsoever okie.
It's juz tat I like to prepare early and get everything over and done with. =)
Luckily the system dint crash on me. I imagined every other ppl logging in at the same time as me, trying to register all at once.
It was done in a flash.
And tat's it. No turning back.
English and History (I hope my timetable isnt going to be B.A.D)...
May they become great working partners and boost their leader (tat's me!) to a higher level and achieve outstanding results.
*cross fingers*
Napped for a couple of hours before I went out to meet XY at TM for the Simpsons movie.
Shopped ard while waiting for her, and got myself a pair of shorts at Double Index. *heehee*
Had my first meal of the day at MOS Burger... Dun ask me why I dint eat during the day.
All right, I'll tell ya.
I've got no mood to eat. Amazing right... Probably it's the school-started-and-it's-time-to-study-and-be-a-student thing tat's giving my pressure.
Or rather, maybe it's becoz of a nightmare I had recently...
Come to think of it, I think this might be the main reason.
I dreamt of two ghosts in my room. Two veri ancient-looking ghosts.
The dream was sooooooooo vivid tat I could still remember it as clearly as ever. (it's hard to pen down the 'juicy' details, so ask me to retell everything if you see me.)
Went to GYM immediately the next day when I woke up, and I felt calmer. But the nagging feeling tat my dream could be a way of telling there is something in my room is still there.
And BeBe made things worse.
They say dogs have a thing for sensing such things, and I think it's true.
BeBe dint want to step into my room AT ALL after I had the nightmare, and she kept staring fixedly at one point, and then she would turn her head around to stare into space. Where and wad she's staring I DUNNO... but it was eerie.
I told my mum abt it, and she thot I was crapping. *roll eyes* Apparently she dint believe me. *sigh* Since then, I ate veri little.
BUT! I would prefer to believe it's the start-of-school reason tat's ruining my appetite. *haha*
Aniwae, coming back...
The Simpsons movie.
It was pretty lame but rather funnie.
Go watch it if you need a laugh.
Embrace the ridiculous moments of the show with an open mind.
Warning!
Never watch it if you are a serious person who's looking for a solid and strong storyline of a movie, or if you are a person with a low sense of humour.
Ta-da.
I muz sleep now.
Need to go school tmr at 9am for some teambonding activities.
Yay! So fun. Can make friends le...
=)

My 'First' Unofficial Day at Skol...

Gotta reach skol by 8:30am.
I woke up at 5:15am.
Need I say more???
*tsk tsk*
I'm realliiiiiiii tired.
Slept thru almost the whole journey on the train...
Skol today was veriiiiii dry.
All day long we sat in the LT, listening to each professor talk about, or rather, promote their own department.
BUT! It wasnt tat bad, to be fair to them.
Most of them were veri entertaining. They have a high sense of humour, and their English is superb.
This was especially so for the English and History presenters, in my humble opinion.
I've realli enjoyed the English presentation, whereby the professor joked ard and juz being veri engaging with his audience.
He talked abt the Old English and how the position of words in a sentence does not matter in Old English.
However, in modern English, it matters A LOT.
"John loves Mary" is not always equal to "Mary loves John."
*hahahz*
I'm sooo going to major in English.
I was still contemplating as to which minor I'm going to take, and I've pretty much made up my mind after listening to their talks.
Initially, I was keen on doing Biology as my minor.
But the Biology professor turned me off, and after second and third and fourth thoughts, I've decided to say bye bye to Biology, or rather, all the three Sciences coz I'm realli not a cut out for science-related subjects.
Juz the words ecology, dunno-wad mechanism, and dunno-wad chemistry can throw me up to the moon.
Nah. I'm more to the Arts. *heeheez*
Aniwae, I'm going to take HISTORY as my minor.
Yup yup.
I'm not mad, dun doubt yourself.
History is interesting okie!!!
Or at least, I'm sure the lecturers will make it interesting.
In History, I get to study like the rise of Hollywood, film as History, the life of Hitler and so on.
So tat settles it.
Tmr I can stay home *whoopies!* and do online registration for all my modules.
I predict it's going to be a busy year coz I need to do SIX modules, I think.
SIX worz...
Last time in TP Biz I need only do four or five, sometimes even three only. *tsk tsk*
No more slacking for me, it seems.
Time to buck up now...
Yay. So fun. Finally I can study le.
I'm not being sarcastic.
Trust me.

Room cleaning: Totally unexpected.

Momsie woke me up super early today, which made me so pek chek.
The weather's soooo nice to sleep in lah! *brrrr* So xin fu to juz stay in bed and do nth but sleep.
All thanks to her nagging - spoil my chance of going back to lallaland.
She wanna me to pei her go the super big Giant @ (juz found out the name of the place) Tampines Retail Park (heard of it b4?) to buy some groceries. *roll eyes*
(Btw, nx time when you wanna cab to Ikea or Giant - DUN GO TO COURTS MEGASTORE!!! - say Tampines Retail Park. See if the driver knows.)
I was like, "Huh...you go yourself lahhhhhh....."
"But you need to buy toothpaste for your camp, right?!" She said in tat kind of I-will-not-buy-for-you-unless-you-go-with-me tone.
*sighz*
So right she is.
And I went with her.
Not becoz of the toothpaste. But going to Giant means I could go to IKEA as well!!!
*wahahahz*
So happie.
I need to get big and beautiful boxes to pack my stuff.
And guess what???
IKEA IS HAVING AN ANNUAL CLEARANCE SALE!!!
*whoopie*
Gosh, there's sooooooo many nice things tat are waaayyyy cheaper than normal.
It's juz too bad tat I'm currently, miserably, terribly, horribly, unbelievably BROKE. If not I'd surely buy tat shiny red carpet, tat pinkie chair, tat wall mirror, tat newly-arrived sweet-designed cabinet, and those wad's-not.
*haiz*
Aniwae, I was contented with the four LINGO FLORA cardboard boxes tat Momsie paid for me. *hahahz*
And they cost HALF their usual price! Tan dio ar~! So XY, if you are reading this, pls dun dui yourself. Juz head down and buy somemore!!! They're reallii fricking cheap now.
*** *** ***
After a quick lunch, I can't wait to get started on those boxes.
I thought it would be juz filling in the boxes with my clothes and stuff, but man!
I spent nearly THREE HOURS doing it lor!
It occurred to me suddenly tat I own soooo many things. Sigh.
Therefore I felt tat it was high time to do some spring cleaning of my room. Didnt expect to spend my Monday cleaning.

Messy messy, isnt it?

My dad was shocked when he saw the state of the room. He thought I was moving into hostel when school starts becoz he seldom gets to witness such a large-scale area cleaning. *hahaz*

There wasnt enuff space on the floor, so the bed came to help. Pardon me for the messiness. I'm deeply ashamed already.

*whew!* Finally, after throwing away tons of old stuff (I have no idea why I kept some of them until now), wiping my wardrobe, and filling the boxes to its maximum storage, I was done.

So proud of myself can. *throws out chest in a champion way*

3 nicely fill-to-the-max bags of old clothes tat are to be given away.

Boxes of forsaken bags and clothes.

My CDs collection. *tsk tsk* I dint know I've got soooo many albums until now. Should start downloading more often. *keekeez*

My prized possessions: CLEO mags, Harry Potter novels, and some other books.

*haiz*
How come I get to own sooo many, erm, useless things when they seemed useful to me at the time I bought them? I mean, why? If I dint buy half of those things tat I had, I'd probably be 10x richer.
My mum was like saying, "See lah? There won't be so many things if you dint 'want' them at first."
Damn true.
But shopping and buying things are natural abilities given to us, or me. So you couldnt blame me for 'wanting' and eventually buying those stuff.
I guess it's a part and parcel of life.
*yawns*
I'm tired.

p/s: Giant and Cheers are selling The Deadly Hallows. Can you believe it?

All we can do is eat, eat, and eat.

Seriously lor...
All we can do is to eat.
And eat.
And eat somemore.
There's practically nth much for us or me to do nowadays except to eat.
I can't go swimming becoz I just rebonded my hair. Dun wanna let it go to waste. You know, chlorine is bad for rebonded hair... Well, at least for mine.
I can't go running at the park becoz I'm afraid of getting dengue fever.
Most of all, I can't do any exercises becoz of the rainy but shiok weather lah! It's soooooo comfy to sleep in or simply laze ard in such cooling weather...
*haiz*
I'm so lazy after Xiang go NS... *hahahz*
Aniwae, they say neng chi shi fu (to be able to eat is a fortunate thing), so heck lor.
And I dun think I can enjoy those good food as much when skol starts... *boohoo!*
*** *** ***
As usual, I was the earliest one to reach WS, and I was LATE for 30mins on purpose lor, knowing their pattern. *roll eyes*
Bought a PINK organiser at popular, which was soooo totally unexpected... I bought it becoz it has nice colour-combinations...
And it's mostly in PINK:

Got a 15% staff discount. It pays to work at pop for 3 yrs can! Cheerios to Zhenxi, who's still doing cashiering there...
Headed down to town (again!) coz Recruit Lee misses orchard veriii much. *muahahaz*
Had a so-so dinner at Crystal Jade Kitchen @ Taka, where the auntie waitresses are ill-mannered and have APs. *tsk tsk*
Lousy customer service they provide, I'd say.
But my Zha Jiang Mian was quite tasty, and Celes's scallop congee was okie. I preferred Hui's spicy beancurd yee mian though, and Tiong's crispy noodles with preserved veggies looked... gross. But apparently it was nice coz he finished almost everything... (I wonder if he's juz plain hungry or has low standards when it comes to food...) *hahahz*
Shopped ard, and moments later, we were craving for ice creams. *lolz*
But we couldnt think of any ice-cream parlours that we can go to.
Swensen's is boring, and in Celes's word: cheapskate.
There isnt any Ben and Jerry's or Haagen Daz.
Eventually, we ended up at NYDC, eating cheesecakes...

My juz-eaten-b4-I-remembered-to-take-a-picture Big 'O' Cheesecake.

Celes's Iced Chocolate Milk Elephant-sth.

We slacked for quite some time, simply chatting away...

Few hours later, Celes got hungry again.

*wahahahz*
I tell you, this gal can realliiii eat lor. But the stuff tat she ate was pretty 'random' and apparently, non-fulfilling to her.
We went to cineleisure's food court, where we watched her chomp away her Korean spicy beancurd with rice. *hahah*
I realli pei fu her ability to put away sooooo much food. I can never allow myself to do tat.
Never.
*** *** ***
Back to TM to meet up with Wei Yi, the birthday boy.
Saw Nicky, Daniel and Alex at the station.
It's sooooooo nice to see them all coz it's been a nong nong time since we've met up.
Nicky is still the same: witty, cheeky, and funny. He's one of my smartest friend... GPA is 3.8 lor! Dun play play worz. And he will be in NTU too!!! We can be skolmates again in two yrs' time.
*heehee*
*** *** ***
It's midnight, and it was Tiong's turn to be hungry.
Kind Darren drove us to Bedok 85 for supper.
We ordered chicken wings (yummy!) and oyster egg (yumyum!)...
Tiong and Celes had porridge. (Yes, Celes had another bowl of porridge...)
See wad I mean?
All we can do is eat, eat, and eat.
Looks like we accumulated lots of fu qi... (neng chi shi fu, remember?)

Me, Darren, Hui.
Tat's all for Saturday, which passed in a flash.
p/s: Pardon me for the lack of photos. I forgot to bring my DC.
p/p/s: It's 3:10AM now. I'm tired. But my hair is still wet. How to sleep????
p/p/p/s: Harry Potter and The Deadly Hallows is out. Everyone has it. And I want it too.

Registration at NIE.

Met up with my new found friend-cum-skolmate to go skol tog. Fun, isnt it.
We reached there like, superduper early. (I think we will always be the early birds since we live so far away.)
The registration was held at the gymnasium, so the bus stop to alight wasnt the usual one with the overhead bridge. And since we were still unfamiliar with the place...
Guess wad happen to us?!?!
Right. We stopped at the wrong bus stop.
To be more accurate, we actually sat thru the ride coz my friend was like saying it's the next one after the u-turn.
But u-turn nv came.
Instead, the bus turned a corner to the road tat leads to the main road (199 is a loop service)...
Shit.
It's like we took the bus into the skol and out again for nothing.
We immediately got off the bus in the middle of the 'forest'.
It was already damn embarrassing to get off at the ulu bus stop, coz any person with a brain will see tat ppl who wait or alight at that particular bus stop are those idiots who got lost.
But the embarrassment dint end there coz fate juz like to make fun of us.
199 came from the opposite almost immediately after we alighted, and we quickly flagged for it.
The bus stopped for us. And suddenly, the quiet road became infested with cars tat kept coming and preventing us from crossing over.
Wah lau.
I dunno how to explain the situation we were in at that point in time clearly, but it's sufficient to juz know tat it was plain embarrassing.
We couldnt cross the road without knocking down by a car.
But no choice.
We had to wait for ALL cars to drive away, which took ard 5 mins.
FIVE
mins leh! It's like sooooo long lah!
But the bus driver was VERIIIIIIIIII nice. He waited for the traffic to clear, and ultimately we managed to get on it.
And oh! Did I mention tat there were MANY passengers on the bus tat time?
So imagine the looks on their faces. I could feel them throwing daggers at us from their stares for losing their five mins.
*haiz*
*** *** ***
The registration process took an hour plus to finish due to all the queuing up.
My friend saw her TP lecturer there, which was an amazing thing lah. She called him and he came over to us.
It turned out tat he's studying the post-graduate programme to get a qualification to teach in primary schools.
*hahahz*
But it's weird, isnt it...? I thot it's better to teach at polys rather than at primary schools infested with little screaming brats...
Aniwae, I've gotten my matric card from NTU, and it's realli nice. I love the NTU admin ppl or whoever who did the cards.
They made my face look slim and slender!!!
*muahahaz*
Now I'm not afraid of showing off the card to whoever who wanna see it. *heh heh*

I'm such a Tai-Tai today...

*woo-hoo~!*
Shopping is such a powerful remedy for ppl like me who's been hibernating at home for the past few days... *hahahz*
Enjoyed myself muchie today...
I went back to TP in the morning leh!
So happie happie!
It's like back to the old days, when I queue for bus 15, then sit thru the 20-odd-min ride, climb the nong stairs and walk across the nong bridge...
*sigh*
Realli miss those days... Dun laugh at me, but I got all emotional on the bus ride coz the memories juz flooded into my head at tat point. I dint cry, fyi.
Aniwae, I found Celes zapping diligently in the library for her sketches of mahjong chair tat is designed specially for elderlys. So cool, right. She's going to build a mahjong chair for old ppl.
Like, wow.
After which, we ate western food at the Design canteen worz!!! *slurpz*
Fish & chips + Teh-C bing = double happiness. *awwww*
*** *** ***
And then it's SHOPPING time!!!!
Can't believe the two of us spent nearly three hours at Far East alone.
Obviously, we bought quite a hefty.
Celes got herself a cutesy blouse from a dunno-wad-it's-called shop. It sells this VERIIIII chic wallet from anna sui tat I'm VERIIII tempted to buy.
But I've got lotsa wallets at home, and Momsie says changing wallets often will cause your money or fortune to leak. Which is damn true. Juz look at my financial status. It's realllllllliiiiii bad.
And I've discovered a horrible thing when I checked my acct earlier:
The bank has started to deduct $2 from my acct every month le!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's so fricking unfair lor! I'm not even 21 yet!!!! *hrmpf*
Aniwae, back to the anna sui wallet. I dint buy it in the end coz I was suddenly reminded of the red Espirit wallet my dear couz got for me. *hahahz*
BUT!
I managed to buy a pair of black skinny jeans, a pair of black pumps, and a white belt. Triple happiness lah...

I'm so into black & white now.
Saw a black bag ( try repeat 'black bag' ten times. Faster.) which looks great on me. *wahahaz*
But I controlled myself. I ren (tolerated). And thankfully, tat $50 can go into my future Gucci bag tat I'm saving for my 21st birthday present. Nice thinking, isnt it? *heh heh*
While Celes and I were yakking abt some shirts at some push-carts, there was dis auntie who eavesdropped on our conversation.
And then she suddenly joined in, which gave us quite a scare. Celes was like, stunned for a min, unable to react.
That auntie was a freak lor. But to be fair to her, maybe she's juz trying to give us her opinion (which we dun nid it, thank you very much)...
But it's like so weird lah! Where got ppl juz cut into strangers' conversation de?? *tsk tsk*
We walked away quickly.
*** *** ***
After 'exercising' the entire afternoon, it's high time for some high-tea. Like wad tai-tais always do.
Slacked at Starbucks, one of our favourite hangouts.

My raspberry frappucino ice blended cream. Sweet... =)

When we got up to leave, I saw a red colour bill under Celes's chair. I thot she dropped her ten bucks or sth.
But when we picked it up, it's a bloody 10 INDIAN rupee.
Excitedly, we went to a money changer, thinking we could at least get some Sing bucks in exchange.
The ah neh was also veri excited when we told him we wanted to change some rupees.
But his expression changed when he found out it was only 10 rupee.
Becoz 10 rupee = 3o CENTS.
*stunned for 3 secs*
We threw the rupee away (not in front of ah neh, duh!)... *tsk tsk*
At the money changer, there was dis butterfly resting on the glass. It has unique patterns on its wings, and Celes shot it. With my camera, obviously.

Close-up.
Celes can be a photographer. Realli. She's sooooo pro at taking pictures now. Cool. I'm going to have a photographer as my friend in the future. Be happie for me.
At Wisma, the only store I love to shop is obviously Forever 21.
It's been ages since I stepped into Forever 21. But amazingly though, I dint fancy anything. *sadded* Which it's a lucky thing la... It means I can save more money. *heehee*
Shopped ard somemore at Taka... got ourselves donuts! Luckily the donut shop does not require us to queue for hours, if not I'd surely juz die there.
Headed back to WS (yes, WS again!) and slacked at Yakun. *hahah* Wad can I say... WS is soooo hip now.
*** *** ***
Fyi, in case you are wondering, since I'm always whining and complaining abt being broke, how come I still got the money to buy those things tat I bought?
(It's true I'm broke. This I can swear.)
All thanks to my lovely, beautiful Momsie, my ultimate banker. And of course, my babah, the ultimate supplier for the family. Heart them muchie from the bottom of my pumping heart. *muackz*
*** *** ***
6 more days to the start of skol. The start of the new chapter of my life. Can't wait for it. Seriously.
But I'm overwhelmed by how time flies.
I juz hope tat it'll pass faster when term starts.
*yawns*
I gotta wake up at 6 AM tmr lor! So EEEEEEEEEE...
E for Early.
*tsk tsk*
Tmr's registration at NIE. Gotta reach there by 9 AM...
Gawd.

I still think this is the best...

Well, well...
Looks like this blogskin is better (at least to me!)...
User-friendly with lesser errors...
I dunno, but the previous one (butterflies), although was nice and sweet and all, it wasnt realli veri fantastic...
After choosing for a nong nong time, I still prefer this skin, and I'm sticking to it... =)
*** *** ***
Juz came back home after meeting the gals (celes, hui & min) at WS...
Guess wad?!
We actually spent nearly FIVE hours hanging ard WS.
FIVE HOURS LEH!!!
And at WS somemore.
Unbelievable.
WS is now soooooo hip tat it has become our favourite chill-out location.
First, we slacked at outside Mac.
Then we snacked at KFC.
Later we played at arcade.
And then we ate at Cafe Galilee (inside library).
Finally we slacked even more at Ben & Jerry, eating ice-creams.
*tsk tsk*
With tat two guys gone, all we can do nowadays when we meet up is to eat, eat and eat!!!
*muahahahz*
At the rate we are going, i'm veri scared tiong & xiang can't recognise us when they book out...
But no choice, there's no other activities for us to do except eating.
Nevertheless, I'm going to burn off all the calories by going SHOPPING tmr!!!!
*wahahah*
I know I'm broke, but still, there are many necessities I die die hafta buy for skol.
Like a pair of black jeans.
A pair of pumps or heels.
A belt.
Maybe a bag. Juz maybe.
*sighz*
Where the hell am I going to get all da money???????
*grrrrrr*
It's juz toooo much and soooo sad to be soooo damn poor right now.
The world is not fair to me.
*hrmpf!*

Momsie saw a pervert!!!

Count tat disgusting fellow lucky I wasnt there with my mum, or else I'd surely make sure he'd spend the rest of his remaining 20 yrs behind bars.
*grrrr*
My poor mother and her fateful encounter:
This morning, my momsie was walking home via the fishing pond (she always walks to and fro WS via the town park) and it was drizzling slightly.
She saw one uncle, wearing a shirt + sports shorts (veri short shorts, know wad I mean?) sitting on a bench, reading a newspaper (well, pretended to be reading aniwae), with his legs opened wide wide.
At first, momsie thot it was weird tat he was sitting out there in the light drizzle. And it was even weirder tat he's sitting in such a strange position.
Being highly alert, and with a radar so sensitive to crazy ppl (like, literally crazy!), momsie knew something was wrong. Veri wrong.
But she had to walk past the man to get home, so she's got no choice.
When she walked nearer, she suddenly saw IT.
IT was 'dangling' outside his shorts, and apparently the owner of IT knew it (obviously, duh! Wouldn't he feel cold if IT was outside without any form of protection???), but dint do anything to conceal IT.
WTH.
Of course momsie got a shock. Imagine seeing such sight early in the morning. Imagine IT belongs to a uncle. *brrrr*
The most common reaction was to juz faster walk away and pretend nothing was seen, and then silently cursing and swearing under your breath, abusing tat man's abnormal act.
Too late.
Mr. Pervert saw my momsie has seen IT, and was staring at her.
This scared her even more, and she hastened her steps.
Luckily he dint chase after her (he's got a bicycle, she says)...
So yeah, tat's the whole story.
Disgusting right?
Such perverts SHOULD NOT be left loitering ard public places, presenting a hazard to all women, young or old, and polluting the pureness and innocence of the scenery.
Oh wait.
Maybe he's one of those R-rated masseurs, whose massage business is on the rocks, and he desperately needs to find customers. Therefore he dresses sexily (to him, maybe), hoping against hope tat he can attract aunties and brainwash them to spend over hundreds for him to squeeze and rub their body, eventually leading to sex. Not only can this help to boost his withering career, but it can also satisfy his own needs.
Mr. Pervert: "If those china women can do it, why can't I??"
And thus he decides to showcast his little brother as a tool of publicity.
In the end, after sitting out there in the ever-changing weather for hours, he fails to seduce anyone.
His little brother gets a cold and the skin begins to peel off due to the sudden hot and cold weather.
Becoz of this, he finds it hard to stand up and walk as IT hurts him deeply.
"Die lah, dun tell me I have to sit here the whole day. So many mosquitoes leh! Wad a stupid idea this is." A stupid man calling himself stupid. So clever.
After slapping the 6th mozzie on his face, he catches the headline of the newspaper he has been pretending to read:
"DENGUE SITUATION AT PASIR RIS TOWN PARK WORSENS..."
He then turns to stare at the bloody squashed mozzie on his palm, a look of horror on his face.
"Hey you! Are you bitten by a mosquito?" a National Environment Agency guy, armed with a protective suit like those of astronauts, comes charging to him with a rifle.
Everything happens in a flash.
Stupid masseur is found to have contracted the disease. He is hospitalised and quarantined in a small stuffy room for a month, during which he has to attend court trials for 'intentional spreading of dengue disease outrightly' and 'illegal operating of massage salon'.
The judge sentences him to a lifetime imprisonment plus a fine of $5 (becoz his bank account only left $5.99).
Stupid + suay man: "GOD! Pls juz let me die lah...!"
And he did.
.
.
.
.
*muahahahz*
Pardon me. I juz can't help it.
At least 45 mins have passed after I finished the story. Yay.
I'm sooooooooooo rotting at home lor!
Nothing to do... no Goong to watch... all my friends are either in camp, school or at work.
Only left me, nua-ing at home.
*grrrrrrr*
Pls let the weekend come faster can?!

A Brand New Look.

Suddenly got the urge to do a major makeover for my blog in the middle of the night.
Juz finished finalising every little details, and man, editing the template was damn hard okie!
But it's interesting though... spent hours staring into my laptop - bad for the eyes, kiddos! - but it's quite worth it lahz...
The outcome of it was pretty much wad I have in mind...
Veri pinkie, yes! Which is why I lurve it soooo much! Pretty pretty! =)
And well, they say nothing is perfect in the world, and I think it's rather true.
Coz this blogskin does not allow me to have archives... *boo!*
I've figured the only way for u ppl to read the previous previous previous and more previous posts: I put up all of the past month's worth of juicy tales, so juz scroll down and down and down until, well, you wish to stop scrolling.
Aniwae, you may say tat I've too much time to spare to do all this stuff, when I could have done something meaningful like helping an old lady to cross the road, or join the govt's call to fight the mozzies, but hey...!
You are right.
I was tooooo free.
But I did some 'quality' stuffs for the day okie!
1. Went to rebond my hair... *heehee* Yup yup! Curly and frizzy, bub-bye! Silky and straight, cheerios! *muahahaz*
2. Vacuumed the house. *awww* So nice of me.
3. Napped for a couple of hours. *yawns*
4. Ordered mac for dinner. *bleah* Fries were soggy. *bleah bleah bleah*
In case you are wondering... I had to settle my own breakfast, lunch and dinner coz my beloved parents went to Malacca (for a day nia) without me.
Boo!
It's like, I can go de lor! But Momsie was worried there's no one to look after BeBe and the house, so I muz STAY behind.
Which is like, not fair lor!
Although they only went for a day and it sounds boring (and dangerous!) going m'sia with parents and relatives, but still, it was like a mini getaway from Singapore right!!!
*grrrrr*
I'm not saying taking care of BeBe is a nuisance. She's been a realli good gal; she slept away most of the day.
Even when two uncles from the National Environment Agency knocked at our door and wanted to do thermal fogging INSIDE my house, BeBe dint make any noise.
Not tat I let them in; I rejected their kind offer coz it's pretty weird to let two strangers into our hse. Besides, I think Momsie will nag at me until my ears bleed for letting them in even though they have produced their identifications becoz she's not at home and she deems it as dangerous to open doors to strangers when she's not at home, and well, you know wad I mean. Mothers.
I guess the dengue situation at Pasir Ris is getting worse. *tsk tsk* Damn the fishing pond.
Btw, eating an egg tart + a swiss roll from Bangawan Solo is a bad, bad, bad combination/idea. Never try it anywhere, anytime.
It made me LS three times in 2 hours' time. THREE times leh!
Altho it's shiok, but it's a horrible ordeal to go through. The stomachache and all.
Can you imagine if I were to LS during the process of rebonding my hair, and the saloon has no toilet of its own, and the nearest toilet is a good 10-min walk away...?
*brrrr*
Can't imagine the consequence.
Aniwae, my point is... erm...
You decide.
I'm tired le.
*yawns*

Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix

Finally!!! Harry Potter's latest movie craze is out, and I've got a date with him!!!
*muahahaz*
As usual, the GV @ TM was P-A-C-K-E-D... The queue was damn damn long can!!!
Luckily we booked the tix, tks to Celes... =)
The movie was all right (though I still prefer the first one), although it was veri different from the novel...
If you ask me, the novel's better. Go read it if you haven't. Please. This is especially so for you to understand the plot, and also to prevent you from asking in a you-thot-it's-soft voice irrelevant questions like:
"Who's tat??"
"Huh, why lyktt?!?"
"Who? What? Where? When? How?!?!?!"
"Is he going to die? Is he going to die???"
It's VERI annoying if such people were to sit behind you. *shakes head*
Oh, and did I say tat the theatre was full??? Like completely full??
Not amazing, though. It's expected, coz it's Harry Potter!!!
Took a nong nong time to actually exit the cinema, becoz tons of people were leaving at the same moment. We'd definitely die in there if there's a fire.
*** *** ***
While waiting for the movie to start, we chilled at Starbucks and played some cards...

Me in Tiong's cap.

Juz to sidetrack a bit...
The next big thing on my wishlist is ta ta ta daaaaaa.............
APPLE IPOD (30GB)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's current retail price is ard $436...
Which is like, wow.
Given my present financial situation, it's near impossible for me to get it.
But trust me, I WILL get it. It's juz a matter of sooner or later.
Meanwhile, lemme juz dwell on it...
Should I get the white one...

Or the black one...??

The black one.
*Sigh*
Let my mamma or poppa strike lottery, can???

It's not really tat fun after all...

Yesterday's trip to tekong wasnt tat ideally fun.
We thot we could walk ard FREELY or sth...
But nahz... *tsk tsk*
We toured ard BMTC School 2, led by a sergeant, who looks muscular and tough but VERI soft-spoken...
One of the 'places of interest' we went was their swimming pool...
Wow.
No meng nans. No suai ges.
All DPs. (fyi, DPs are those overweight ppl.)
Now you see wad I mean???
It was veri tiring lor. We walked and walked. We climbed and climbed the stairs.
The only good thing was that the air at tekong was realli, realli, realli fresh. You can really smell the difference.
Then we went into a lecture theatre, whereby there's a short presentation of soldiers' gears and stuff...

Saw the soldier in full combat in the middle back of the pic? We thot it was a mannequin, coz he dint move AT ALL during the entire presentation. It's only when the speaker introduced him did we know he's a living person. *sigh*

After resting a while at one of their canteens, we proceeded to another talk at the auditorium...
Damn boring.
Tat talk was actually a brainwash to the guys. It showed all the positive aspects of NS, and how honourable and proud they shld be to serve the nation. Talk abt being patriotic.
Then it was lunchtime at their mass dining hall (Celes and I dint eat...the food's not tempting us at all.), and after tat, it's time to go back. *sigh*
I guess the only fun thing was the ferry ride. Wow.

Headed down to Orchard to meet up with MinMin.
Had a great time eating and shopping with the gals...
Bought a piece of red cardigan at Far East Plaza. *whoopie!*

Did you know there's Toys 'R' Us at Paragon?? Like, wow. I dint know leh, and I can't believe there's one. MinMin insisted there is, and we were like, not quite trust her.
And it turned out there is. *hahahz*
Sorrie, MinMin, for not believing you.

MinMin and her idol, Spongebob.

I can't find Hello Kitty.

Well, tat was the end of Friday the 13th.
Veri, veri exhausted.
But still got energy to watch Princess Hours. *hahahz*
Damn nice lor!
And it's gonna be boring soon coz I have no more VCDs to watch le.
*sianz*

Fricking worried...

I was outside when I saw Mum's msg:
"BeBe injured her leg."
And that was it. She dint say how badly injured she was.
Naturally I was damn fricking worried.
Called her back and found out the whole story.
Turned out tat my dad brought BeBe out for a walk to the park, made her sit on a table which is so fricking high up, and she suddenly jumped down, falling flat on her body coz my dad dint hold on to her leash in time.
@#&%&$@)%&~~!(@$&.......
Wad a thing to happen.
And when Mum described the damage caused by the injury, tat was it.
I dashed straight home (was at WS), and this I'm sorry, my friends, for leaving so abruptly. But BeBe is more important than, well, food.
Was VERI relieved when I got home and saw BeBe run towards me, panting happily (her usual form of greeting)... Seems like she was fine, yet.
Saw the cut on her front leg.
Awwww.
Wo de xin hen tong ar... The wound was quite big, and it was still bleeding slightly. *sob sob*
Although Dad had already cleansed the wound and everything, I was still veri worried abt her getting infection coz it was not bandaged wadsoever.
Then I went out again, thinking of getting some bandages to do dressing for her.
And wah lau eh.
Wanna vent my anger at the two ladies from the 24hr clinic lor (7-11 dint sell any cotton cloth crepe, surprisingly).
I got in and asked whether they got sell any bandages meant for dressing of wounds.
I believe I speak in perfect and fluent English, although I was abit impatient.
Both of them stared back at me for like, FIVE seconds; it seemed like they were incapable of reacting.
"Erm, it's my dog, you see. She has injured her leg and I need to bandage her wound."
These are my exact words. Simple English, isnt it?
But it seemed like they dun understand AT ALL. Both of them dio stunned for a moment, and one of them started giggling and shaking her head.
BLOODY HELL. WAD'S SO FUNNY???
If she thinks it's amusing tat I'm getting so paranoid over a non-human's injury, then she can jolly well go stand in the middle of the road and get knock down by a lorry.
The two aunties looked at each other for like, another FIVE seconds, before one of them said they have the bandages.
But wait.
"Wad's your dog's name? You must register her first."
??????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I realli dint want any vulgarities appearing here anymore, but I juz can't stand it.
WTF.
I gave her a complete blank look.
"Wad?! Are you kidding me???"
And she was kidding me. Well, making fun of me, more like.
The two bitches were acting like I'm over-reacting over my dog's injury. Which is realli stupid and spastic.
Firstly, I believe I dint behave hysterically, like a mad woman who just lost her fortune overnight.
Secondly, I believe I was rather calm when I spoke.
And wad? Dogs are also living creatures okie! They have rights like us as well! And they deserve every medical attention when they are hurt okie! It's juz tat they can't walk themselves to the clinic/hospital and seek medical help. Tat's the difference between dogs and humans.
Well, there's another distinctive difference: Dogs are more loyal and faithful than most humans are.
So...
IZZIT SO FUNNIE OR AMUSING TAT MY DOG IS INJURED AND I'M WORRYING SICK OVER IT?????
*grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr*
I was so pek chek lor! Juz faster get me the bandages, will you, bitch?
"Five dollars."
I refrained from throwing the money at her face, and it was a hard hard thing to do. *sigh*
But to be fair, one of them actually said sth like this:
"Wow, your dog is so lucky to have such a good owner..."
But becoz I was so pissed off with them, I dint say anything and quickly left the disgusting place.
And BeBe dint seem to appreciate the kind of humiliation and anger I've went through to get her bandages.
She simply refused to let me dress her wound. And when I finally managed to do it, she bite it off her leg. Again and again I tried. Again and again she removed it herself.
*haiz*
Wasted my time and money lor, tat BeBe.
*** *** ***
Was so engrossed over BeBe's injury tat I forgot abt Botak Jones.
Yes, we went to AMK juz to try out the famous Botak Jones (western food). Well, actually it's sort of a "farewell" gathering for Xiang as he's enlisting tmr le...
Generally, the food was okie, and the serving was pretty huge.

My and Hui's and Min's Cajun Chicken, $7... Soft and tender chicken breast meat char-grilled with mozarella cheese and tomato sauce, complete with coleslaw and spicy fries... *yummie*
Xiang's Giant Italian Pork Sausage... Oops, I forgot the price, but it's affordable and reasonable lah... As you can see, it's filled with ONIONS... And lots of it.
Celes's was almost the same as Xiang's, except tat hers was Turkey Sausage.
Go visit Botak Jones, it's worth the try. But you might have to travel far if you live in the East coz all their outlets are located at the West and North areas.
But it's Botak Jones.
*** *** ***
After eating those high calories food, one needs to exercise so she won't feel so sinful.
Went back to WS to shoot some hoops at the arcade.
And yes, although I've said I would never play at arcades, it was pretty tempting to shoot those hoops when you watch them play.
Amazingly, it was pretty fun, and man, you can sweat from playing it. My arms were rather sore at the end of the game.
*** *** ***
Well, it's late now, and I muz sleep. Tmr muz get up super early coz I'm gg to BMTC at tekong!!!
Seems fun, and I can't wait!
p/s: I'm still angry with tat two aunties from the clinic. *hrmpf*

Oh, Mozzie...

Two personnel from the National Environment Agency juz came into our house to check for any mozzie breeding.
*tsk tsk*
Everything seemed okie to them, apparently.
For a moment I felt like asking them:
"Can you shun bian help me get rid of those spastic ants that are breeding HEAVILY instead, since you guys can't find any mozzie to kill? Pretty please? I've got a lovely dog, you know. Dun wanna the ants to crawl all over its body. Thanks."
Well, I dint get to say a word at all.
Coz they were gone in a flash.
*shakez head*
I. HATE. ANTS.
Evil creatures, they are.

Short and Sweet...

I'll keep this short and sweet...
Bought my butter manju cakes like, finally.
After queueing for hours.
Wondering wad they look like??
Here you go:

Looks ordinary. Nothing special. But fricking popular. So amazing. *tsk tsk*
Bought a pair of MNG 3/4 black pants. Yay.
*** *** ***
BeBe was awake when I got home. (she sleeps in my bro's closed room now.)
Got a good laugh upon seeing her.
You'll see wad I mean:

She's got a nice, sexy piece of pyjamas.

Dun play play worz.
The shirt is from Renoma.
*tsk tsk*
Even dogs, like owner, go for brands.
Wad's the world coming into?
p/s: I'm juz kidding when I say I had queued for hours for the manju cakes.
p/p/s: I've exaggerated.
p/p/p/s: But it's true tat BeBe's pyjamas is from Renoma. This I swear.

Primetime Korea!

Yup!
The whole of my afternoon has been dedicated to Korea...
Not tat I am there now holidaying or sth (I wish I could! *boo*)...
I'm referring to Korean DRAMAS + MOVIES...
Shiok man!
*muahahaz*
Millions tks to Xiang who lent me his precious and beloved VCDs: My Sassy Girl & 200pounds Beauty...
Kam-sa-ha-mi-da~~~!!!
Cooped up in my room for the whole day, lying on my veri comfortable bed, watching hilarious shows, and of course, munching away snacks (tae kao noi!)...
Tat's life man...
And hey! If tat's wad u guys are thinking now...
I'm not a pig okie! Watching vcds and eating tidbits while lying on bed = PIG?
Not me!
I got exercise de hor! *defensive look*
Went swimming in the morning okie! (Altho 70% of me wanted to juz continue my beauty sleep coz the morning weather was sooooooo cool and nice and shiok...)
Celes was supposed to meet us, but she conceded defeat to the tempting weather and chose sleep instead of swim. *tsk tsk*
Becoz of her, our schedule was delayed, and I was late.
Thousands sorries, Xiang! I'm veri veri pai seh to make u wait soooo long...
Blame SBS Transit if you want.
Hee~
Aniwae, the swim was great coz the pool was nearly empty! No yalam kiddies to disturb and irritate me!
Wah so shiok lor... *wide grinz*
And the lifeguard actually greeted "good morning!" to me can! It's only too bad he belongs to the category called Shu Shus (uncles, duh!)... *sigh*
*** *** ***
The Hokkaido fair is still on at TM, and I thot I can buy some manju cakes to try, after hearing from XY tat they are nice... Well, they have to be nice lah coz the no. of people queuing for it is unbelievably long...
When I saw the queue when I got there, I was pretty shocked but pleased to see tat it's rather short as compared to last time...
So I happily lined up at wad I thot was the end of the queue.
*tsk tsk*
Wrong move.
There was a security guard standing near me.
"Miss, are you queueing for the manju cakes?"
"Yah!" I smiled blissfully at him.
Without saying another word, he prodded his chin over my head, towards Isetan, and I turned around.
*GASPS horribly*
Yuan lai the queue dint end where I thot it had!!!
THERE WERE STILL SOME MORE PEOPLE LINING INSIDE ISETAN LOR!!!!!!!!
The line-up was identical to the one used by Donut Factory @ Raffles City... It was separated into half, and if innocent ppl (like me!) dint look properly, they would happily juz join in the first half of the queue, which can then be rather embarrassing later on.
Wah lau. Spoil my mood.
Dint buy in the end...
So be forewarned: look carefully around you the next time you wanna queue for something.
Okie, I can hear Lee Shin the prince calling me now...
Gotta go watch my Goong. It's sooooo addictive can!
*hee~*

Yawns...

I'm so tired.
Slept at 4am and woke up at 9am. If you pass your math, you will see tat it's 5 hours of sleep without actually counting. Only five hours leh! *tsk tsk*
Wonder wad's wrong with me...
Anyway, nua at home watching Goong and playing online mahjong before gg out to meet XY...
And yes, I went to MS again!!!
I was feeling dui dui dui for not shopping properly yesterday, and since there's still sale at Zara n MNG, MS was still da ultimate choice...
Had a yummy and veri full dinner @ Thai Express... We ordered pineapple seafood rice, fried thai squid, fried softshell crab (omg I can faint from happiness) and tom yam steamboat...

XY was gaga over the tom yam steamboat lor...
The food was all right lah, and the seafood was veri fresh indeed... Not a bad place to eat Thai food...
After one hour of savouring............................................................
Can't wait to start my shopping spree...
Becoz both of us were pretty tired, we dint realli put much effort into the shopping...
Juz see see, touch touch, and go.
BUT I managed to get two tops and a necklace...

The artistic one is from Zara, and the plain from DP.
I bought it becoz it's simple enough, like me.

And tat ends our trip.

p/s: Congrats to XY's bro, who's oso my cousin, who had his commencement @ NUS earlier today... He graduated with a 2nd UPPER CLASS HONOURS (Bachelor of Arts: Social Work) can!!! So liao bu qi right...

p/p/s: I'm so gonna sleep RIGHT NOW.

Queuing hours for donuts? Never again.

As always, Saturday is full of people.
And it's NDP preview, so got more people than usual.
Was at Raffles City... Ate MOS burger (yes, again!)... Tried their new item: Shrimp dunno-wad burger... yum yum! *slurp*
Before we went into MOS burger, we walked past Donut Factory, and saw the nong nong queue... *tsk tsk*
After we walked out of MOS burger, we saw the nong nong queue again, and this time, we actually joined in the 'fun' of waiting...
Darren and I wanted to try the donuts to understand why people are willing to waste 3 to 4 hours of their life just so they can buy boxes of, erm, donuts.
Once we joined the queue, the staff informed us tat we were queueing at our risk and tat we might or might not be able to buy coz they had stopped the queue le...
Wah lau.
But tat dint stop us. Die die oso muz try! *heeheez*
So after waiting for ONE HOUR PLUS (I felt like cursing this auntie, who was mainly responsible for most of the waiting time...she and her friend actually bought FOUR DOZENS and somemore choosing the remaining limited flavours slowly and painfully while the rest of us waited, clenching our fists...), we finally got to order.
And guess wad?!?
Not many flavours left... Only left the white strawberry heart, double chocolate and kaya.
*roll eyes*
Obviously we took the first two flavours lah... And we were quite lucky actually... We bought a dozen, almost clearing away the more popular donuts, leaving behind the not-so-popular ones like the kayas... *hehehz*
Oops! Not veri sorrie for the people behind us, though. Blame on their suayness tat they had to buy all the kayas... *evil grinz*
Darren was veri veri cheeky... He was holding onto the big box of donuts when this lady walked past him and saw the box.
"Wad's tat box huh?!?" Lady asked her friend, not realising we had heard her.
"Left kayas." Darren said after her.
*MUAHAHAHZ*
I tell you, damn funnie lor! I can't stop laughing at his quirky and witty response. *giggles uncontrollably*
As it was ard 9+pm, I was veri anxious to start my shopping spree at MS...
However, the number of ppl inside Zara, lining for fitting rooms and the messiness of the store turned me off... Left MS after tat...
Decided to come back on a weekday... Just hope tat their sale is still on... I need to buy shirts!!! And lots of it coz skol is starting soon... *heeheez*
Walked all da way back to RC again... we wanted to chill at Starbucks, and of course, savour our hard-to-get donuts...

To be honest, they were not realli fantastic... Toooooo sweeeeeeet for my liking... It's like, you can get diabetics from juz eating one of them lor... *tsk tsk* Dunno why they are selling piping hot... And I dun think dentists will recommend it.
If you ask me, I'd prefer the normal sugar donuts sold at normal bakery shops... Yup, tat's defintely sooo much more nicer and healthier, I guess.

It's 2:57AM as I type, all thanks to the caffeine tat kept me perfectly awake!

Xiang, dun you know it's fugly to display vulgar hand signals in public? Behave yourself can?*tsk tsk*

Found out from Celes tat he's got PNSS (Pre-NS Syndrome). Pity him.

Darren's priceless cap.

Too candid.

Eeewww... why's only her face blur??? Muz be Xiang's amateur photography skills. *tsk tsk*

Since practice makes perfect, he tried a series of shots, with the subject (tat's me!) unnoticed tat she's the subject.

Caught you!

"Are you really taking me all this while???" *shakes head*

Pauline, being MIA for sooooo long, suddenly called Celes (amazingly!) and met up wif us after her dance practice...
As usual, she forced all of us to watch her dance recordings on her DC, and received Celes's harsh treatment in return... *roll eyes*
Headed back to WS coz Pauline wanted supper...
Ended up at Mac...

Pauline, tat meal's gonna cost u 10 hours of jazz + salsa + hiphop...

Before...

After...

Juz wanna show the difference between the mixed chilli & ketcup sauces before and after eating... Looks like there's no difference at all. Both are equally disgusting.

Spoiler.

Now tat's better... :)

Msging my sweetheart...my Mummy, duh!
Celes fiddling with my DC...
Becoz it was soooooooo fricking late (actually it's only 12am++ lah), WS was fricking deserted...
And my wish of taking pics with Hyun Bin whenever I walked past the Beauty Credit counter came true!!!!
*WAHAHAHA*
So happie can!!!

Love him, love this, love it love it love it! *woofy grinz*

For your ignorance, he's the lead actor in My Name Is Kim Sam Soon, Millionaire's First Love, and his latest work, Xue Zhi Nu Wang (Queen of Blood, if translated literally)... *heeheez* And of course, still got many many many many more of his acts... tooooo many to list down...
Though I was pretty upset abt not getting my clothes, which was my main motive, my unhappiness vanished into the hot air after taking these two pictures...
*hahahz*
So happie, so very happie... Can fly to the moon and never come back le... =)
p/s: It's 3:45AM now, still wide awake. How?

4 months & 1 day old photos...

Hooray to Tiong, who FINALLY passed me the disc with all these great pics taken on his 20th birthday (7th March 2007) exactly four months and one day before...
Well, I think the credit goes to the govt, who passed the law tat all males above the age of 18 muz serve NS to undergo training for protecting the nation and its people... Becoz of such training, they need to be 'quarantine' at an island for days and weeks and months...
Therefore, during his days inside the camp, he told me he's veri veri veri free and with nothing much to do, he thinks. He recalls his fine memories and time spent with us...
And then he remembered he owed me this particular disc which I've been asking for a nong time...
(I told him he still owe me 50 bucks. He knew I'm lying. But I'm juz trying my luck.)
So here it is... and they were realli taken a nong nong time ago... when I still had my long flowing commercialised hair...

They thot they were models. Especially Celes. *muahahaz*

OMG, wad pose is tat???

Tat guy from the left always tries hard to be different. *roll eyes*

Brewerkz @ Clarke Quay

Sooooo cute!

Those were the days...

Lovely memories...

Jacie's memories... =)

Getting up and about...

*cough cough*
Right. I'm still not well. Yet.
Still coughing and sniffing away, but it's better than the past two days...
Those days were so tong ku lor!
Can't sleep well at night... Other than the annoying heaty weather, my blocked nose + coughing spells kept me from having sweet dreams as well... *sianz*
And I can't go out too. *double sianz*
Spent most of the time in drowsiness due to all the medicine (which wasnt veri effective)... and when I'm perfectly awake, it's either playing mahjong online or watching VCDs (not veri keen to invest in DVDs...yet) or eat, though appetite wasnt veri good...
BUT still, you know wad I mean...
I mean, I felt tat my 'holidays' were wasted lor!
They are meant for me to haf fun, go shopping, enjoy my fake tai tai life, and more shopping...
Staying at home for two straight days in a row? Wad a goner.
I missed playing badminton with Hui & Xiang...
I missed swimming...
I missed jogging in my new NIKE shoes...
I missed all my EXERCISES!!!
(Ya I know exercising when you are ill is a suicidal act, tks Lester for his advice and Mom for her nagging, and being a good gal, I dint exercise AT ALL, thank you very much...)
Anyhow, I'm not realli ostracizing the freedom and pleasure of nua-ing at home, BUT I REALLI NEED TO GET OUT OF THE HOUSE FOR SOME FRESH AIR!!!!
Which comes back to today's mini outing...
*hahahz*
Met up with Tiong, Xiang, Hui n Celes for a tea-time sushi buffet at Sakae @ CS...
I guess seeing my frenz (or perhaps it's the soft shell crab?) improves my appetite greatly...
Had a great laugh listening to Tiong's army stories... He's so suay lor! So fast dio guard duty le... Tat's why we had to meet earlier today, coz he's booking in tonight... *sigh* He looks so sianz, but I think he's handling it well lahz... Jia you, Tiong! See ya nx Fri at BMTC (hopefully!) okie dokie?? :)
Aniwae, nx week, as in 7 more days, is Xiang's turn le... I think he made a mistake by telling us tat he's got FIVE tix to bring his family or friends to tekong... coz Celes kept insisting tat she wanna go and she must go... *hahahz* Dunno why she's so adamant of going... But I guess it'll be realli a treat if we could all go...
So Xiang, it's up to you le... faster confirm wif your parents okie! And dun forget me oso~! *heehee*
Anyhow, sushi was great, and the company better...
I left them to meet up with XY...
As usual, TM was crowded with shoppers, and even more crowded becoz of the Hokkaido Fair...
Wah lau.
It's damn packed and squeezy can! People's butts were kissing one another juz to get from one end to the other. *roll eyes*
Wad's so great about the fair man? It's only juz some wai guo huo (foreign goods) from Japan, need to be so crazziee over it mehz?? *diaoz*
You realli can see the kiasuism burning in those aunties' eyes... They were looking out for samplings and more samplings, buying wadever others were buying... all in the attitude of "I can't lose out to others!!" *shakes head* It's tat bad, juz imagine.
I'm not referring to XY lahz, whose main purpose of gg TM was the fair itself... although she did buy TEN butter manju cakes, red bean flavour (you know, Doraemon's favourite dessert?) after queuing for like, 20 mins??
I'm not sure if it's tat nice, so I dint buy it... and I think my parents wont eat it, so buy for wad?
But from the looks of it and the number of ppl lining up, I think it shld be edible.
Aniwae, I think the Hokkaido Fair overpriced their stuff horribly... In my humble opinion, I think some of them dun even cost the labelled price (izzit due to the 7%??)... But still, ppl go ga-ga over it... *shruggz*
While lining up for her manju cakes:
Me: "Wait for 8 more years, then we can juz fly to Japan and buy freely..."
XY: "Ya lor, ya lor..."
*** *** ***
After cooping myself up at home for two straight days in a row, it's time for shopping!!
Well, not realli shopping as in shopping lahz... Juz walking ard... I mean, wad's there to shop at TM???
Went to MNG @ Isetan, and man, they marked down their prices for the third time... It seemed like every single piece of clothing muz go or sth...
Bought a pair of white berms, which cost only $22!!! *muahahaz* Wad a deal.

After finally owning it, I realised tat I've got several white bottoms tat are currently being stashed inside my wardrobe... But wadever, I need a pair of berms, preferably in white... and I got it!!! *cheers* So happie worz...

Headed back to WS to collect this:

*wahahahz* Princess Hours VCD!!!! Finally, after sooooooo long, it's mine!!! Can't wait to start the adventure of playing the first disc and getting hooked... Juz hope tat my DVD player won't explode like the previous one from over-running it... *fingers crossed*
Juz to side-track a bit...
I think I'm a person who prefers to watch old shows/reruns rather than the latests... Even though I've watched tat particular movie/drama before, I'd still be willing to watch all over again, on the condition tat it's worth watching lahz, of course...
Take for instance, Protege. I watched it yesterday, and somehow, I learnt to understand and appreciate the film better than the first time I had seen it.
There was this scene where Andy Lau was finally caught by the cops, and his wife, played by Anita Yuen, came to see him at the station... She told him the only way out is for him to leave so the police can't find out his other partners in crime from him, and tat'll ensure their safety...
At first I dint think much of this statement... I thot she was telling him to plan an escape route out of prison or sth...
Who knows, he commited suicide by slashing his throat with a broken piece of tile of the toilet wall after his wife left...
When I watched again, I suddenly realise the meaning behind her words... Wad she meant was to ask her husband to silence himself so he would never need to confess anything to the police, and those triads or mafia would never hurt his family for betraying them...
The impact of this sudden understanding caused me to write this much, so pardon me for it...
But wad I'm trying to say tat I love watching shows tat I've watched before...
So does anyone has Titantic, Armagaedon and Black Hawk Down vcd?? *heeheez*
Coming back...
Bought a cute little black pouch at Aries... thought it'd be nice to house my toiletries when I go to camp nx nx nx week...

After shopping, we ate at mac... And WS gonna have a McCafe!!! Cool! Another hangout for us... *heeheez*
Was about to leave when sth amusing happened...
A staff auntie from mac thought I'm an Indonesian, and she made tt clear to me...
*ROLL EYES SEVERELY*
Where do I, from hair roots to pinkie toe nail, look like I'm from Indonesia???
Juz becoz I left my seat at the same time of some exotic-looking Asian kiddies sitting beside us, I look like one of them?!?!?
*heart attack*
Which brings me to the topic of mistaking one's identity...
(I know it's a long post, and i've been writing loads, but since I dint blog for two days, juz let me be...)
Once, there's dis Prudential lady, as usual, wanted me to invest in some saving plans, and started making small chats with me... Since I was waiting for bus, I entertained her lor...
Pru-gal, in a high-pitched voice, acting cute: "You dun look like a local leh!"
Me, in a low tone, turn-off upon hearing tat: "Oh yeah?"
Pru-gal, continued in her high-pitched voice: "Ya lor! You look like a Vietnamese!"
*ROARZ*
Gave her a piss-off look, and almost swore in front of her face.
Another time, and I swear this was the worst ever, was when I was mistaken as a PRC by an annoying uncle can!!!!! Wah lau eh. I almost wanted to slap him coz the word 'pervert' was written all over his mo-beng face, but I refrained from doing so coz I'm afraid my hand would rot...
*whole body shaking*
Somebody kill me can??? Can't believe it lor...
For the record, I'M A PURE SINGAPOREAN WITH A PINK I/C OKIE!!!!
*grrrrzzz*
Okie. I've made my point. Tks for scrolling ur mouse until here...
Really appreciate it.
Goodbye and Goodnite...
Period.
Fullstop.
Ta-daaaaaa.
p/s: I think my sickness is cured lehz! My nose isnt blocked and my coughing has stopped miraculously worz!!! Amazing. *muahahahz*

Shopping is more important than health...

Yes, tat's rather true, to me at least.
Die die oso hafta shop til I drop!
*muahahaz*
Was coughing and sneezing and sniffing like mad, with body temperature rising like stock shares, but still, I managed to shop and eat for a whole eight hours today...
*wahahaz*
Amazingly strong, aint I?? *kekez*
Went to Marina Square...
My couz treated me to a hot and spicy lunch @ Lerk Thai...
Wow... the tom yam soup realli unblocked my nose, but for a few minutes only... -_-"
Nevertheless, the meal was pretty yummy...
But there were too many moments of awkward silence coz we dint realli haf much topics to talk about... To be honest, it's our veri FIRST time gg out together lehz... So not veri used to each other's company...yet.
But shopping realli helps... *hahahz*
And shopping at MS helps so much more!
Bebe (i'm not referring to my doggie, fyi) to Espirit to DP to Zara to MNG to Topshop at one go...
Woo! So shiok can!
But mostly was see-see only... dint realli fancy anything...
Except for this shirt at Zara:

Nice mahz?? I'm quite proud of myself for getting this coz I seldom buy from Zara, and it's pretty amazing tat this was the one and only shou huo I've got after gg into so many boutiques...
Btw, I've bought Celes's dream blouse... and it's so dirt cheap can! Usual price was ard $100, and after the store sale + staff discount, it became... guess wad???
$40!!!
Cao pian yi okie!
Celes realli tan dio le... *hahahz*
BUT *sob sob* I dint fancy anything from Espirit lorz... so wasted... my couz is there with her staff discount waiting for me to use it, but I dint get anything... *haiz* Maybe it's juz not meant to be...
After walking ard, we were thirsty and went to Xin Wang cafe for a drink...
This time, my treat. (veri pai seh to let her treat again mahz, right...)
I tell you, the food SUX.
The bo lo bao was so damn fricking hard can! Imagine I can't even slice it smoothly with the knife... It's sooooooo not fresh lorz...
Same goes for the pork chop burger... First thing, the so-called burger was juz two pathetic small slices of toast bread, so not like burger at all!!! Second, the pork chop?? Got a weird taste... like the meat was kept in a container for 3 yrs b4 it was cooked those kind of taste...
I dunno lahz, but *BLEAHZ* so not to my liking...
But the spring rolls were superb... and the "yuan yang" beverages also...
Continued shopping... This time we went to Raffles City, but no shou huo as well...
In the end, we called it a day le...
Met up wif Celes, Xiang n hui "coincidentally" at WS...
Although I was a tad too tired, I still pei them lor... *hahahz*
Wad a nice friend I am... *tsk tsk*
Finally, bought my Protege vcd at Poh Kim...

I've watched it before, but juz wanted to own it for keepsake... *hahahz*
I love Ku Tian Le!!! Although in the show he's a bit ugly, a bit sucky, a bit disgusting, but he's still my handsome!!! *hahahz*
AND MY COUZ SAW HIM FACE TO FACE IN MALAYSIA BEFORE CAN!!!!
She told me he's actually a veri shy guy who blushes easily... waaahhh~~~ So cute. *heeheez*
(I can imagine XY gg: "Nooooo!!! Daniel Wu is more shuai lor!!!" etc...)
I. Dun. Care.
Went up to the arcade (yes! arcade, the place where ah lians and ah bengs, or so-called youngsters, frequently hang out at, playing para-para sakura, gun-shooting, drum-beating, racing, thinking they are Jay Chou from Initial D, etc etc etc, wasting their parents' hard-earned $$$ at every single tap of their card, their mode of payment for playing the games...) and sat ard watching the three of them shoot the hoops...
In other words, basketball, whereby the players juz stand rooted on the spot, throwing balls and balls into the metallic hoop, which occasionally moves from left to right when the player(s) reach stage 2...
And each game is only 95 cents... *gasps*
Me: "Why's the price lyktt??"
Hui: "Coz we haf VIP cards."
*shakes head*
Wah... even places like arcade talk abt VIP lehz... Utterly unbelievable + amazing... *tsk tsk*
This goes to show how long I havent played at an arcade le... Guess I've already grown out of it ages ago...
Honestly, it's quite an entertainment watching them shoot those hoops, but seriously, you will never catch me playing it... Ever! It's juz not me lorz!
Oh well, I think the medicine I ate juz now are starting to kick in... Feeling a bit drowsy now, but I'm finishing...
Except for this part:
I showed my mum the red shirt from Zara, and guess wad???
SHE WANTS ME TO SELL IT TO HER!!!
Apparently, she simply adores it.
So wad am I gonna do???
Sell my precious prized possession of the day and be a filial daughter, or juz reject her "kind" offer?
Aiyoh... being a daughter is so difficult at times! And being a filial one?? Even tougher!
Guess I'll sleep on it first.
Let tomorrow handle it bahz...
Ta-daa.

I'm sick.

Thot I can tahan and juz let it heal naturally...
Thot tat after eating Panadol I'd be fine, as it always does everytime...
Apparently not. Still feeling a bit blue...
And I still went swimming yesterday... *hahahz*
I muz be mad right... fever + flu + cough still go swimming...
BUT I NEED MY EXERCISE!!!
Amazingly though... a sick person still got so much energy to exercise...
*wahahahz*
Anyhow, the TM pool was veri veri crowded... tks to Youth Day, all kiddies got a break from skol and they decided to swim on tat day.
*sianz*
It's so hard for me to swim can! When you wanna swim across the length of the pool, sure got some stupid YALAM kids (note: it's always & only yalams!) swam across the width of the pool and blocked your way...
It's veri annoying n irritating okie!!!
And dun get me started on those kids who got up of the pool, ran a few distance and dived in together, creating a hell of a splash.
*fists clenched*
Wah lau eh. Want to peacefully swim oso cannot.
Whoever invented Youth Day and made it a skol holiday shld be shot.
*tsk tsk*
Being innocent, I thot tat after exercising my illness will cure itself naturally... But nope... guess all the UV rays are seriously harmful. Despite from my sunburnt and eating more Panadols, my fever still dint subside...
Die lahz... could it be dengue fever??? Coz I got a kiss from a mosquito recently you know??? And then I was sick. The timing was so right lorz... To make things worse, my mum told me there's someone from our block has gotten the dengue fever and sent to hospital...
O_O"
Oh My GYM.
Thinking I shld play safe, I went to consult a doctor...
Waited for quite some time at the clinic... Coz there's dis auntie who came in with a bloody wrist... She had paper towels pressed firmly ard the cut, which was still bleeding profusely...
Wad a bloody sight lor! Of course we had to let her see the doctor first right...
Which means more waiting time...
*sianz*
Well well, woke up dis morning with my nose blocked still...
But felt much better...
I had to feel better, coz later still need to go out with my couz, Ivy.
Felt bad to cancel our date coz it was me who asked her out first...
I need her Espirit staff discount to help Celes buy her dream blouse...
I'm such a good fren right...
Can't stand myself.
*heeheez*

Damn U, GST!!!

Juz came back from mai dong xi chi dong xi @ Orchard...
Bloody hell.
Fricking lots n lots of ppl...
Nvm it's a Saturday night...
But with 1st of July = 7% GST = crazzieee shopping, you know wad I mean.
EVERYONE, rich or poor, tall or short, fat or skinny, pretty or ugly, smart or stupid, was crazziee shopping...
Seriously lorz, you can see the kancheong-ness + kiasu-ness + nv-give-up attitude in everyone's eyes... I'm not exaggerating. Purlease. *rolls eyes*
Anyhow, we still managed to find some joy and fun out of the crowded night...
Ate at MOS burger was the first thing we did when we reached Orchard. After waiting, we managed to find seats for all five of us...
BUT the counter staff serving me was frickin rude lor! She's got AP lehz... Like bu shuang to serve us lyktt... *roll eyes* Yalam.
Shopped ard, and then we went Forever 21!!!!! *muahahaz*
So happie tat I've finally stepped into a Forever 21 shop after like, wad, a few months??
*shruggz*
Aniwae, I prefer Vivo's Forever 21... it's sooooo much better!!! Spacious, neater, more organised, blah blah blah... I miss u, yong yuan er shi yi!!! But nahz, I dint buy anything coz too messy to browse thru their clothes... you know wad I mean.
Still we walked ard somemore, and found out (shockingly!) tat most of the shops were closed by NINE O'CLOCK!!!
Wad???!!!! It's a Saturday lehz! Night somemore lehz! Where got shops close so early de??? And it's Orchard somemore worz!!! So ridiculous right...
I think it's becoz all the shops ppl wanna close early so they can change all their price tags after adding the new GST so they can sell it on the 1st of July 2007.
Make sense???
Yep. *nods smartly*
Naturally, the best thing for us to do was to find a place and chill... BUT everywhere was crowded/ full house/ packed to the max!!!
We were craving for ice-creams and hence, we ended up queueing for Swensen's for ard 3omins before we finally got a table...
*haiz*
It's amazing juz how many ppl were eating at Swensen's so late at night. Arent they worried abt high cholestrol, hypertension, or diabetes??
(Apparently not!)
We chilled and slacked at Swensen's for almost 2 hrs, I think, before we decided to head home coz there's REALLI NOTHING FOR US TO DO AND NOWHERE TO GO!!!
And tat's our Saturday night gone le. Juz lyktt. *snaps fingers*

MOS Burger...

Swensen's...

Nr 7...

Xiang is a lousy photographer.

Celes is still da best.

Xiang redeemed himself by taking this pic.

Now, I think I'm falling sick coz my throat is itchy, I'm lethargic, body temperature feels higher than normal... These are the symptoms of fever, arent they?
Somebody tells me no can?
I dun wanna fall sick.
Purlease.
*begs*
