Meet-Up Sessions...

Meet-Up Sessions!

Been pretty busy lately...

Meeting up with friends almost everyday...

And I'm still living in the Chiang Mai mode cos I've been sleeping really late and then waking up really early...

*tsk tsk*

Can't wait to fly back there again! =)

Anyway, I met up with 5 lovely babes a few days back. We had a lunch buffet at Kushinbo, and it was yummylicious! Found another great restaurant with good food to offer... =)

The six of us (from top to bottom, left to right): Me, Eleanor, Corinne, Xinxin, Angela and Kangli. The only matured ones in the entire team. YAY!!!! =)

Lovely!

Surprisingly, I did not celebrate Christmas at all this year. Either it's due to my tiredness after the trip, or I simply could not be bothered.

So I spent Xmas Eve going to Ikea to buy photo frames, developing my CM photos at Loyang Point, and then staying at home for the rest of the night.

A quiet, peaceful Xmas Eve just passed like that, but I like. =)

The only flaw was the absence of log cake. =(

And then it was Christmas Day.

Spent it with a friend/family whom I know in my entire life, and still counting!

Thank you for the handmade card and lovely present. I like them! =)

26th Dec:

Boxing Day - not my concern here.

Tsunami incident 4 years ago - feel sad for the victims and their family, but amazed at how time flies.

The day LustyLester was born - my gosh. He's been living in this world for the 22nd year! Oh no, I can never catch up with him. *hah!*

Anyway.

We planned a surprise mini birthday celebration for the shou xin gong at his house, and man, I had a hard time trying to make up stories and think of excuses to drop by his house.

Dunno if the surprise element was there at all, but I still hope that he's happy with our arrangements.

Lester Yong Chang Jun, you better appreciate our efforts okie! And make sure you wear our Sexy Ai Xin Adidas jersey whenever you go running at East Coast Park okie... *hehs*

Cute cute Moley preparing the birthday cake.

Always trying to act high fashion, even when it was just cutting a cake.*haiz*

That's right. You dun have any breasts, so stop feeling for any. *hah!*

Didnt know 'BeBe' is in Lester's room. And ya, I love the cowboy hat. Reminds me of Stevie cos I saw him wear one before. *hehs*

Me and the S$400+ Dior shades and the cool cool cowboy hat. Erm, actually, it should be Me and the S$150 second hand Dior shades and the cool cool cowboy hat. Oh wells, who cares. But I like the shades though. *heehee*

Our dear friend is into vintage glasses, so he has several pairs for us to play around with.

Sexy modelling poses...

I've got a patriotic friend! Well done.

Anyhow, hope you have enjoyed yourself and HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, MY FRIEND!!! =))

More meet-ups along the way.

I'm super exhausted.

*yawns*

See you soon. =)

Chiang Mai Part V

Chiang Mai Part Five.

Final installment because it's about the final two days spent with the Thai teachers and students...

On the very last night, the school organised a Thank You Party for us. Dinner was held at the parade square, and all teachers and students ate together. Definitely never encountered before such happening. *hah*

I was touched by the school's effort to plan such a warmth farewell party.

All the students had their dinner on the mats, while the teachers and us had tables and chairs. But I prefer coziness, so I went to join them... =))

Once I flashed my camera and started taking photos, a bunch of kids suddenly appeared, all wanting to take photos with me. *HAH!* And a while later, I couldnt find my food. Not that I mind. =)

My ah girl and I! She's been such a sweet girl. Always cuddles me from the back. There was once when her older brother brought her to me, and she was crying so badly. Then I found out that she missed home after going back for the weekend (the school is a boarding school, so students as young as 5 years old have to stay in the school for the week). So poor thing, right? Have to stay away from home at such a tender age...

Me and KK again. I miss him badly! He was one of the minority students who cried badly on the last day when we were about to set off for the airport. Oh man, I can't wait to see him again!

Me and Puppet Boyfriend. He gave me a teeny weeny teddy bear, which totally caught me off guard cos I didnt expect any gift from anyone. So sweet, right?!?! And he's also one of the few who cried on the last day, which also surprised me cos he's quite man and tough (he and his friends helped us to carry the tables up and down the stage during our puppet rehearsals. So much more helpful and selfless than some of the Singapore guys I know).

Me and Favourite. He's very very disturbing cos he always disturbed me. He was dressed up like that because he and his friends were to perform a dance, however their performance was cancelled. What a pity. Anyway, he made me a simple-looking bracelet. And oh, he wears hot pants to bed too. Just thought it'd be interesting to share. *hehs*

Eh...some random students whom I've never met before until then.

Yes, the school has lots of guys who are feminine. Nothing unusual, especially in Thailand.

Potential women in the future.

One of the good good friends I've made...LIAN JIA!!! He gave me his address in Chiang Rai! *hahah* So yeah, I'll definitely write to him because I'm dying to know his real name. *HAH!* In fact, I'm dying to know ALL their real names. We've been giving all sorts of funny labels to the students because it was too difficult to remember their sign name, much less to say their real Thai name.

The guy in white wears bra, even during normal school hours.

My basketball buddy!

The art team and our favourites.

Me and President. Quite sad to leave him too. Wonder how he's doing now...

Stevie! So cute.

All of us performed the sign language song for the school again. Some immature and selfish people wanted to cancel it, but luckily Mummy (the lady on the 2nd right) and the other teachers insisted that we performed. *HAH!* Seriously, the sign language song is definitely more meaningful than some Chinese/Hokkien songs. At least the hearing-impaired children and the Thai teachers can understand the sign language song. Btw, I'll upload the videos that Kangli took during the Cultural Exchange day. Later.

Oooo00hh... she's Stevie's girlfriend. *hahah* So cute lah...=)

A final group photo with all the Thai teachers. The school bought traditional handmade bags for the girls and pants for the guys. Nothing beats the Thais' generiosity and hospitiality. Miss all of them very much... By them I mean the Thai teachers.

It seems like the party is never going to end. Endless photo-taking sessions.

Shucks. I like this photo, but it's soooo blur!!! What a waste. And I just realised that I didnt take many photos with Stevie leh. Shucks, shucks, shucks!

Oh, me and Eleanor both think that this guy looks like Lester! Like, seriously.

Heh heh. He really has the goalkeeper sey, right? Say you agree.

After the party, the six of us went for our last round of shopping at Anusarn Market.

At last. The final day has arrived.

I slept for only two hours because I was busy preparing gifts for the students the previous night.

Bought special gifts to those who are closer to me, people like KK, Stevie, President, my ah girl, Hardworking, Puppet Boyfriend, Joker/Commando, Favourite, Lian Jia, Goalkeeper, Basketball Buddy and a few others. The rest of the students got sweets. And I also developed photos for them! I seriously hope they'll cherish it. *hah!*

Bought lovely handphone accessorises and chocolates for the teachers too. =)

Morning was a rush. Busy giving out the correct gift to the correct person. Busy taking photos. And busy crying.

All Lian Jia's fault lah. He gave me a long hug, and suddenly all emotions erupted within me. Tears just started to flow like nobody's business. And I couldn't turn them off. *sigh*

So my eyes were a little swollen throughout the morning assembly. And we had to go on stage to bid our final goodbye and thank-you. *haiz* So embarrassed.

Adisorn, the vice-director and me.

Me and Mummy! She's a very very kind and loving lady who is the HOD for English. =)

Me and Somchai (hope I spell his name correctly), an English teacher. His classroom is just along the corridor where we painted the walls, so he's always chatting with me. =)

Pimonporn (oh dear I sure hope I spelt her name correctly cos she's also the vice-director of the school!) and me.

Me and Kandah (again, I spelt according to how we pronounce her name). Beam is her daughter, btw.

Us and Ann, a very pretty teacher who brought us to Chinatown the other day.

We were about to leave when the students asked to take one last photo.

It's hard to say goodbye because I dun wish to say it. If I could extend my stay there until after Xmas, I would.

Many many many hugs and kisses to all the students and teachers who gave me experiences that I would never ever forget in my entire life. =)

At the CM airport...

The Art Team showing off their gifts from the students. =)

We love Thailand! We love Chiang Mai! We love Anusarnsunthorn School for the Deaf! Yay!!!!
