H is for HECTIC!!!

OMG OMG OMG!!!
Today was sooooo damn freaking hectic!!!
Besides the fact tat I woke up late (got a jumpstart can!!!) at 7am (work starts at 8am!! *gasps*) and pia cab down... Cost me $12.50 can!! I think the uncle's trying to cheat my money... took one BIG round to drop me off... *grrr*
And also the usual stuff tat goes round in the clinic...
Doctors changed their rooms at the last minute causing us much much inconvenience...
Patients being spastic and irritating and disgusting...
Colleagues being biased and selfish and fake...
You know, those things lahz.
*sighz*
Remember there's this superduper psychotic + disgusting + sickening male patient who always freaking request for female doctors?? Well, he's back (again!) today and he charged right to my counter.
"OI! TODAY GOT FEMALE DOCTORS OR NOT???"
"NO!"
"HOW COME NO FEMALE DOCTORS??? ALL OF THEM DIE AR??"
"YA LOR, ALL DIE ALREADY!!!" I yelled back, secretly adding "why dun you die oso?" to myself.
"THEN THE THIRD FLOOR INDIAN DOCTOR LEH? IS HE HERE??"
At this point, I was freaking pissed off with him and I've got my patient waiting coz I was calling for his number...
"CAN YOU GO AWAY FIRST? I WANT TO SERVE MY PATIENT!"
"NO! YOU SERVE ME FIRST!!! I'M FIRST HERE!!!"
Luckily the Cisco security guard was ard and when Psycho saw him, he left.
Heng arhz.
I then beckoned my patient over, and I saw his face look shock at Psycho's behaviour...
"He's mad."
My patient looks even more shocked.
"Realli??" he asked in an unbelievable tone, as if there shouldnt be a mad person running abt in Singapore grounds.
*hahaz*
His reaction was veri funnie. I then asked him to sit down. BUT he refused. *lolz* He didnt want any contact with Psycho, direct or indirect... So he remained standing all the time I registered him... *shake head* I dun blame him though... Who knows, you might even get AIDS just by sitting on the place where Psycho has sat. But then, who would wanna have S*X with him in the first place??? *heehee*
Aniwae, tat's number one.
I've got sooooo much more things to bitch about, so bear with me for a long while... *heh hehz*
  1. Okie, first up. I went to cut my hair again. Yes! Again! *hahahz* Dint feel right with my 2nd haircut, so went to visit the same salon again... This time round, I feel much more comfortable and it's nicer than the previous one... AND the best part? The auntie dint charge me at all. So yeah, I got a free haircut! *yay!*
  2. One of my favourite doctors, Dr. Foo, got his car crashed by another fellow's car... I think it was badly damaged... Our CE had to make announcement to the whole clinic, asking for the owner of the car to come down to own up and make the necessary compensation... *hahaz* Poor Dr. Foo... My shifu oso veri xin teng (pity) him (he's her hot favourite doctor okie!)...
  3. I got a yalam colleague... (no, there's no spelling error or wadsoever. There's a special meaning to the word yalam...) and I HATE her. She's so biased towards her own race and she's doing it so freaking obvious can! It disgusts me totally... *yeeee eerrrr* Oh btw, our nickname to her is Bao Tou. She's so fake... only dares to bully me and QM, but act like angel in front of other senior staff... *bleah*
  4. Did I tell you I oso dun like the Cisco guy?? We call him Yuan Zai coz he's short and fat, and seriously damn disgusting... He's lazy and always like to laze around the clinic, doing nth... This morning, he de zui me, which is the last straw. Wad happened was tat a wheel-chair bound patient came to get a number, which is for the afternoon registration... Yuan Zai took a normal number for him, which is wrong. Wheel-chaired patients get priority numbers. And so I told Yuan Zai to give him the priority number. He gave me a questioning look but did wad he was told. Then hor, he sat down in front of my shifu's counter as though wanting to ask her sth... But my shifu was on the phone... Then another colleague of ours walked past us, and Yuan Zai called out to her... Guess wad he asked?? "Wheel-chair can get priority number ar?" He asked in a veri questioning tone, as though doubting me and hoping my colleague will say no, wheelchair patients dun get smaller numbers... Wah lau... Felt like smacking his face. AND HE ASKED IN FRONT OF ME OKIE!!! WTF. Luckily my colleague is on my side. So Yuan Zai got nth more to say le... *roll eyes haughtily*
  5. The system was down in the afternoon, with hundred over patients awaiting... Imagine the craziness and messiness of us, trying to explain to angry patients who couldnt juz wait for a few more minutes...
  6. Met two bitches today. The first bitch was veri naughty. She missed her queue number coz she went out to eat, and she can still happily tell me tat. Of course I will bu shuang. So I sort of scolded her for tat coz it's realli not fair to those who waited obediently for their number. Then she oso bu shuang. She even have the cheek to ask me if she fainted out of hunger, how am I going to be responsible for that?? I was about to retort back tat tat's her problem coz her face realli sux to the max, but I held back my tongue. *shakes* I should have said sth sarcastic tat is too chim for her to understand I'm being sarcastic right... Shit.
  7. This second bitch was oso veri typical... As our business was veri good today, we closed the morning registration numbers veri early due to overcrowded-ness at the doctors' rooms... Then dis auntie came, and was told to come back in the afternoon... So, as usual, she made a lot of noises, shouting at us for wasting her time and forcing her to leave her two young daughters at home and yadda yadda... So no choice, we registered her...

It's veri disgusting right... Why should we give in to such barbarians using barbaric methods to get what they want?? Monkeys see, monkeys do. If other patients were to learn tat being barbaric will grant their wish, they will surely become one, right?? And OMG, Singapore will be full of cavemen and cavewomen with no basic courtesy and manners... *gasps* Do you want tat to happen???

Like wad I always said, if you can't freaking wait, GO TO A PRIVATE CLINIC, DUH!!!

It's the cheap consultation charges + medicine (which is not veri effective, to be honest!) tat you are taking advantage of... So juz keep your mouth shut and your butt firmly placed on your seat and wait for your freaking turn, can?!?!?!? Izzit veri hard?? I hate those ppl who simply refuse to wait but still wanna see polyclinic doctors... So contradicting... *sighz*

Thank GYM tat tmr's a public holiday, and I've got a day less to serve such irksome patients... *clapz*
And finally I can sleep in!!
Btw, my company is treating us to a free movie of Shrek 3 at ViVo dis Saturday. Should I go???
*heeheez*
I'm so in a dilemma. I wanna go becoz it's free... bu qu bai bu qu right?? But then I dun like Shrek! I dint even watch part 1 & 2... *haiz*
Somebody, tell me wad to do...
*winkz*

Seafood Paradise

Juz got home from a fulfiling dinner at Seafood Paradise...
I dint know we would be going to a restaurant for dinner tonight... Juz knew tat dad is bringing us out to eat, and usually we would go to Changi or Loyang or Tampines or Bedok coffeeshop/hawkers, but it turned out tat we are going to Hougang...
Mam came n woke me up from my 'nap'... It seemed tat everyone was waiting for me... *hee hee*
I then anyhow dress in a shirt & shorts, when I saw mam dress up slightly nicer than she normally would when we go out for dinner...
"Wah! Wear until so nice arh??"
Then she's a bit shy, and said, "Got meh?? No lah..."
*shrugz*
I realli had no idea or wadsoever where we are going, until Bro drove into a small ulu alley where there are lots of warehouse buildings... It's pretty deserted, and it's the last place you would think of having a seafood restaurant there...
So I was realli surprised and amazed when we finally reached (we sorta got abit lost), and even MORE surprised + amazed when the place was FULL of diners!!!
We had to wait awhile, but luckily Bro has made a reservation earlier (surprise, surprise!), and we were ushered inside...
The decorations of the restaurant was veri stylish and unique... It gives you the feeling of chic, glamorous, and classy... It's a pity I dint bring along my DC... *sighz* I realli regretted not bringing... But like I said, I thot we were going to coffeeshop and eat zhi char lorz... Luckily there's no dress code, and some of the other customers also dressed quite slacked... *hahaz*
Aniwae, the food was SUPERDUPER delicious... *yummy yumz*
And oh btw, did I mention tat the boss of the restaurant is a young handsome guy, whose age I assume is ard mid-twenties?? Around the same age as Bro I think... If it's true, den he's realli a good catch... *heeheez*
Coming back... as I was saying, the food was damn freaking tastylicious! We ordered chili crabs with fried buns (my utmost favourite of all, buns...), broccoli with scallops, cereal prawns, honey pork ribs (one rib is freaking big can!), and Si Chuan beancurd with pork floss...
OMG OMG OMG!!
So OD, I know... but heck lahz hor... It's hard to resist good food like these... *heeheez*
To add on, it's Bro's treat lehz... So amazing right... BUT it's not tat ex lahz... the prices are all veri affordable and reasonable, even with the seafood and all... The dinner cost $100+ for 4 pax... Okie right?? Should I know earlier he's treating, I should have ordered baked lobster with cheese... *haiz*
Mam said we'll go again the next time round... I told her we might as well go every time when we wanna eat out... *heh hehz*
Aniwae, it's pretty amazing and weird tat sooo many people know abt this restaurant, coz it's realli realli realli damn ULU can! You can never imagine a restaurant in the middle of warehouses buildings and such...
The location of the restaurant is Defu Avenue 1, and you turn into Defu Lane 10... The address is sooo foreign to me can! No wonder we got lost earlier... *hahaz*
Bro said tat the restaurant depends on word of mouth recommendations... And so, I'm doing it now: recommending it to you guys...
It's realli worth two thumbs-up... The service is good, the food is better, and the boss is best... *lolz* However, one small problem: the indoor area, altho it's air-conditioned, is still warm and hot... we were all sweaty after dinner... I think the outdoor area is better...
Also, it's advisable to make reservations, if not, I'm afraid you might have to wait for some time... :)
I swear I'll bring my DC along the next time round... I tried to take wif my hp, but too pai seh to use it when there are others flashing their digital cams around me... *grinz*

My 20th Birthday!!! :)

So tired! But veri happie... *goofy grinz*
Reached home in the morning (ard 3am+) and slept for TWO pathetic hours before I left for work... But it's still worth it... *hehehz*
I realli enjoyed myself last night... The bunch of them realli made my day!!! *awwww* But in this case, they made my NIGHT coz we met up quite late...
Had dinner at a veri, erm, oldie + vintage kinda feel restaurant called the Hog's Breath Cafe @ Chijmes (I muz praise tiong here coz he did research on the restaurant beforehand... tks horz!)...
It was damn ex (5 ppl = ard $175) but the food was damn delicious! *yum yumz*
All of us enjoyed our dinner, only one person dint coz he thot his salmon tasted fishy... *hahahz*
And of course, we took lots of pics...
Oh! btw, there were fireworks last night you know!!! It's sooooo nice n beautiful! Arent I lucky to have fireworks on my birthday??? *gee* But I dint manage to take any pictures of the fireworks coz I was too slow in my actions: by the time I got out my DC, the fireworks have ended... *sadded* But the night was still G.R.E.A.T!!!
@ Hog's Breath Cafe, Chijmes:

Mine. I know, it's so OD, but heck care lahz... Filling my empty stomach is more impt! This dish is called Tex-Mex Combo, and no, tat's not a spring roll... It's kind of doughy and the fillings are chicken + potatos... So yummylicious!

We had candlelit dinner! :)

Is tat a bear? or a pig? or a hippo???

I think it's a pig.

MinMin & her corn... Both look delicious... *hehehz*

My colleagues said he (above) looks like Xiezhi from 5566.

?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Actually I wanted to take solely Celes, but some person stole the limelight by posing dunno-wad poses... *roll eyes* You can see it all from Celes's face...

Having juz them is enough... and oh btw, a cute waiter helped us take dese... Nice.

Stupid look from the second from the left and third from the right.

Anti-social.

He totally spoil the mood.

@ The Mind Cafe, Boat Quay:

Lin's Milo Godzilla

My Iced Cafe Latte... I need coffee to keep me awake coz in another five hours or so time I need to work!! So not fair!!!

No. 10 says dis: Take a photo with a hunk/babe at the next table. And email to blah blah blah. Have a good pick-up line, yea?

And two chicks kenna forfeited and asked these two to take pics wif them... OMG xiang n tiong got yan yu lehz!!! We were all so shocked tat others mistook them for hunks... *hahahz* But they're realli nice. Seriously.

"You're not supposed to do that," said a staff jokingly. Oops, xiang even managed to annoy strangers... Well done!

My babes! =)

Lin was so enthu over the game but the rest of us were like, huh... how to play???

My presents. Vouchers from my favourite boutique, Forever 21 + sexy La Senza lingerie... Thanks guys! *muackz*

I finally bought M.A.C eyeliner & eye shadow + Shu Uemura lipstick!!!

*YAWNZ* Can't believe I'm still functioning normally wif juz two hours of sleep... Thankfully there's not much irritating patients, and work was rather fun... :)

Then I received an SMS from XY, asking me wad time to meet to go Vivo...

I was like, huh?? Are we meeting to go Vivo today?? And oops, I made her blood boil becoz I totally forgot tat we had a date!! All I could think of was to go home str aft work and zonk out!

But nevertheless, we still meet in the end and inevitably, we shopped till we dropped! Or at least, I did.

Bought a blouse + clutch from Forever 21, a black shawl, and a bag from Zinc.

Speaking of Zinc, we had a realli "weird" experience there...

XY was contemplating whether to buy the bag. Being a salesperson, of course he would try and try to sell the bag and persuade her to buy it right?? Right. He did try to by saying tat if she spent $50 and above there's a lifetime membership. Since we always buy bags now and then, it sounds pretty attractive... But XY's potential bag only cost $34, so I decided to chip in and buy myself another one, oso $34... So naturally, we would get the membership, right?? N-O, NO.

The sales guy asked if we pay together or separately... We chose the latter, thinking it's much easier for us. In the end, he did the transactions n everything, and tat's it.

No membership card or wadsoever.

We left the shop feeling WAD THE HELL??? So qi guai right?? I mean, we obviously spent more than $50 (if you can count) and wad happened???

There's seriously sth wrong with the guy. But we juz left it as it is, dint go back and make a scene... *hahahz*

As if my dark eye rings arent deep enough, there's a BBQ waiting for me at East Coast Park...

My department organised an outing and since I paid 10 bucks for it, I might as well go no matter how tired I am... Took a cab down somemore... *shakez head*

(Did I mention tat my earnings for the past two months have been FULLY spent with not much a cent of saving??? Yeah, tat's right... I'm back to square one... OMG I realli muz try to control my spending!!! But how?!?!?!? I'm only left with 3 weeks of work... Die lah... Pls let my momma or pappa tio TOTO can???)

Aniwae, the BBQ was fun... I spent the time chatting wif my exe n shifu, and guess wad the topics evoled???

Jian fei + constipation.

Yup, tat's right... *hahahz* So funnie... We exchanged tips of how to lose weight, and I cannot imagine my exe, standing at 1.7m (I can't disclose her weight here, but I can assure you, she's slim n healthy-looking), is trying to lose some weight... And I oso cannot imagine her telling me her weight... *hahahz* Isnt tat suppose to be a woman's secret??? *grinz*

I told her, wide-eyed, tat she's so slim there's no need to lose more weight...but then I knew why le... she's getting married dis october/november le!!!! No wonder she wants to look skinnier... And she told me she tried pills, drinking wad I call lao-sai tea and eating veri little...

Wah, she's being so honest with me... *hahahz* And my shifu oso eating pills now... but she's not telling us the brand of the pills, not with my exe begging her to say... But seriously, my shifu has indeed lost some weight le... Still she dint let us know in the end becoz she wanted to wait it out and see if there's some side effects... Looks like she's sacrificing herself for us... *hahahz*

I left after a short while coz my good old man came to pick me up... Heng arh, if not I will surely take cab home de...

Well, I guess tat's all for the past two days... I enjoyed myself totally, but it looks like I'm falling sick soon... throat feeling itchy scratchy, and I'm still damn tired!

Gotta catch some sleep le...

Bye and thanks again, peeps!

:)

Juz a quick note...

Harlow, juz dropping a quick post before I go and celebrate my 20th birthday!!!! *excited*
And ya, I went to get my hair cut AGAIN...
But it wasnt at Jean Yip or Reds or those 'branded' salons...
This time round, I went to Top Level, a neighbourhood salon operated by three fashionable aunties...
Pls dun xiao kan any one of them... Their business was soo good okie! The salon was almost packed with customers, and I had to wait for some time can!
Aniwae, I guess mam was right... (she scolded me for getting TWO haircuts in TWO days *roll eyes*) During her lecture, she made me realise that I shouldn't have go to Kimage or any other branded salons tat are deemed as hip, trendy or fashionable, or the fact that their price rates are higher than those normal salons would mean tat they are better than those neighbourhood salons... It's all their packaging or marketing gimmicks or wadever you call it...
Well, I can assure you tat THEY ARE NOT ANY BETTER!
For one thing: those young young hairstylists? They lack the EXPERIENCE, unlike those heartland aunties who cut/style hair every day of their lives...
Although they are aunties, they have good fashion sense okie! I bet their hair looks more exciting than yours or mine added up...
Aniwae, my point is tat I've learnt some valuable lessons from this experience...
GIVE THE HEARTLAND SALONS A TRY!
Which I will the next time I wanna do something to my hair (but it's gonna take months or maybe even years for tat to happen!)
Juz a quick note... I'm veri happie with my 2nd new haircut (17 bucks only!! *wow*) now, although my parents got a shock when I got back home... I guess they were juz not used to it...
And to be honest, me myself and I are not used to it too! But I'm loving it nevertheless... *toothy grinz*

Actually I'm veri pleased with my front side... But the back?? I'm still trying to get to terms with it... It looks weird, I'd admit... But I still like!
