Seafood Paradise

Juz got home from a fulfiling dinner at Seafood Paradise...
I dint know we would be going to a restaurant for dinner tonight... Juz knew tat dad is bringing us out to eat, and usually we would go to Changi or Loyang or Tampines or Bedok coffeeshop/hawkers, but it turned out tat we are going to Hougang...
Mam came n woke me up from my 'nap'... It seemed tat everyone was waiting for me... *hee hee*
I then anyhow dress in a shirt & shorts, when I saw mam dress up slightly nicer than she normally would when we go out for dinner...
"Wah! Wear until so nice arh??"
Then she's a bit shy, and said, "Got meh?? No lah..."
*shrugz*
I realli had no idea or wadsoever where we are going, until Bro drove into a small ulu alley where there are lots of warehouse buildings... It's pretty deserted, and it's the last place you would think of having a seafood restaurant there...
So I was realli surprised and amazed when we finally reached (we sorta got abit lost), and even MORE surprised + amazed when the place was FULL of diners!!!
We had to wait awhile, but luckily Bro has made a reservation earlier (surprise, surprise!), and we were ushered inside...
The decorations of the restaurant was veri stylish and unique... It gives you the feeling of chic, glamorous, and classy... It's a pity I dint bring along my DC... *sighz* I realli regretted not bringing... But like I said, I thot we were going to coffeeshop and eat zhi char lorz... Luckily there's no dress code, and some of the other customers also dressed quite slacked... *hahaz*
Aniwae, the food was SUPERDUPER delicious... *yummy yumz*
And oh btw, did I mention tat the boss of the restaurant is a young handsome guy, whose age I assume is ard mid-twenties?? Around the same age as Bro I think... If it's true, den he's realli a good catch... *heeheez*
Coming back... as I was saying, the food was damn freaking tastylicious! We ordered chili crabs with fried buns (my utmost favourite of all, buns...), broccoli with scallops, cereal prawns, honey pork ribs (one rib is freaking big can!), and Si Chuan beancurd with pork floss...
OMG OMG OMG!!
So OD, I know... but heck lahz hor... It's hard to resist good food like these... *heeheez*
To add on, it's Bro's treat lehz... So amazing right... BUT it's not tat ex lahz... the prices are all veri affordable and reasonable, even with the seafood and all... The dinner cost $100+ for 4 pax... Okie right?? Should I know earlier he's treating, I should have ordered baked lobster with cheese... *haiz*
Mam said we'll go again the next time round... I told her we might as well go every time when we wanna eat out... *heh hehz*
Aniwae, it's pretty amazing and weird tat sooo many people know abt this restaurant, coz it's realli realli realli damn ULU can! You can never imagine a restaurant in the middle of warehouses buildings and such...
The location of the restaurant is Defu Avenue 1, and you turn into Defu Lane 10... The address is sooo foreign to me can! No wonder we got lost earlier... *hahaz*
Bro said tat the restaurant depends on word of mouth recommendations... And so, I'm doing it now: recommending it to you guys...
It's realli worth two thumbs-up... The service is good, the food is better, and the boss is best... *lolz* However, one small problem: the indoor area, altho it's air-conditioned, is still warm and hot... we were all sweaty after dinner... I think the outdoor area is better...
Also, it's advisable to make reservations, if not, I'm afraid you might have to wait for some time... :)
I swear I'll bring my DC along the next time round... I tried to take wif my hp, but too pai seh to use it when there are others flashing their digital cams around me... *grinz*
