Fire drill exercise!!!
The clinic had a super duper short fire drill exercise in the late afternoon, close to closing time...
Prior to tat, all of us were so tense as we were anticipating for the alarm to go off, well, maybe at least for QM and I coz it's our veri first maiden tryout... *muahahaz*
We thot the evacuation's gonna take quite some time becoz the clinic is quite crowded, but in fact, it only took less than five minutes and everything was back to normal...
Oh ya, I got my second tryout at the microphone juz before the fire alarm... They need a Mandarin-speaking person to announce to the whole clinic abt the fire drill exercise... I'm so damn nervous coz there's no 'script' for me... it's all spur-on-the-moment thingy, and I need to speak in a professional manner... *hahahz* But it was fun... *hehehz*
So while we were all standing out there on the field, QM took some pics to capture this 'special' annual event... (I was busy taking attendence...)
Patients + staff + doctors all waiting ard for further instructions...
I dunno wad QM's doing by shooting this pic... maybe she's trying to be artistic, but failed... PS: The woman looks pretty scary up there, dun you agree?? And she's looking at ME lyktt... dunno why oso... *question mark*
The civil defence ppl realli came to our clinic for this exercise, and two of the firefighters had to pose as victims being carried out on stretchers by our staff... If you look closely enough, the carriers, besides carrying the 'injured' victim, also carried a smile on their faces, as though they thought it was fun to be able to participate in the rescuing operations... Even the victim was laughing uncontrollably as he was being carried out... So fake.
Saw the man in blue holding on to the loudspeaker?? He's our DD, the biggest big shot of the clinic...
*hehehz*
After the whole thing ended, we strolled back to the clinic, taking our own sweet time...
Once I entered the door, I already saw my patient sitting in front of my counter, waiting to be registered... *hahahz* Kiasuism... *roll eyes*

Met a supersuper duperduper ma fan patient dis morning... Also a mother and her son... I guess mothers and sons have a thing for me... *haiz*
Aniwae, dis mother was also being a freak over her son's leg joints problem... She's arguing for an MC for the day as her son dint go school in order to come to the clinic to do blood test... Obviously, to get an MC, she needs to see a doctor, rite???
BUT SHE DUN WANT coz she dint see the reason why she muz see a doctor since she had already came yesterday (actually her son has gotten an excuse slip from doctor to be excused from PE for a week) and in her mindset, she thinks tat the doctor should give her son MC for today... Veri confusing, I know...
To cut the story short, she's being difficult... Difficult to talk to, difficult to be understand, difficult to communicate...
And while she's telling me her son's situation, she got more and more agitated, and began to raise her voice at me, with everybody else staring...
I got pissed off becoz this wasnt even my fault!!! Why should I be the one who's taking in all her rubbish??? I dun deserve tat, okie! Guess wad I told her?
"Ni bu yao zhe yang da sheng gen wo shuo hua, ke yi ma????!!!! Zhe bu shi wo de chuo!!!" (Can you pls dun yell at me like tat??!! This wasnt my fault!!!) I said tat straight in her face, in twice the volume she used on me.
She immediately looked pai seh, and kept apologising to me, claiming tat she was too angry to notice tat she's shouting... *roll eyes*
So er xin, rite?? And to make things more disgusting, she's wad we call pei du ma ma, MIC, PRC or wadever you call those women...
Oh ya, did I mention her son's already 17 this year??? SEVENTEEN okie!! Usually when boys get to this age, they will tend to look after their 'face' and will not tolerate anybody, especially their mummy, to make a big scene in public and throwing their face and lowering their self-esteem and wad's-not, right?
WRONG.
All the time he kept quiet, letting his mother to settle the problem for him... He never even utter a single word or made any effort to control his mother... He juz allowed her to rant on and on... even in the doctor's room (I brought her up to see the doctor, and she's making a big noise inside the room until the doctor, who's a very patient and kind lady, chased her out of the room becoz she oso can't make her understand our clinic's procedure...)
SO DAMN RIDICULOUS...
Becoz of her, I wasted ard 3o mins of my precious time...
*roll eyes*
