FOC 2007

Hey peeps!
I'm back!
I made it!
*wahahaa*
The camp was fun. Everything was great.
But there were dull times, of course.
Nevertheless, I still enjoyed myself and made lotsa friends...
My OGLs were a bunch of nice and fun-loving souls. They helped us loads in completing the tasks and challenges, and proved to be veri helpful and encouraging.
The planning commitee of the FOC were simply superb. They were realli creative and put in huge efforts to ensure the success of the camp.
So throughout these 3D2N, we played lots of games, cheered like nobody's business, ran ard like crazzy monkeys, and for some, they simply juz threw the issues of pride and image away and let their enthusiasm take over them.
This, I can never achieve. *heehee*
Probably it's becoz I'm from poly??? I found tat the extremely enthu ones were from JCs, while the more laid-back ones were from poly... *laughz*
I was rather sianz during most of the time, but I got rather high during the mass dance at the finale night. *wahahahz*
We all danced ourselves mad, imagined we were at St James' clubbing but without any alcohol. *lolz*
Aniwae, I'm glad I went for the camp.
If there's ever a chance, I hope I can join the club and become an OGL... *hahahz*
But first, I muz get myself high first.
I've got one whole year to warm up.
So yeah. *kekez*
Below are some pics I took during the camp. Pardon me for some of the blurness. I can't believe I forgot to bring my DC. So juz appreciate them for the time being, while I try and upload the nice and professional pictures taken by a professional senior using a professional camera.

Our dinner. *tsk tsk* Horrible food. Dint finish them. Thankfully, there was buffet on the last night, which made up for the previous disastrous lunches and dinner. =)

During the Amazing Race @ Day 2...

We travelled ard Singapore, went to places like JP, Clementi, Queenstown, Tiong Bahru Plaza, Novena Sq, North Point and Chua Chu Kang.

We played games, completed tasks set by the station masters, and basically had fun all da way.
Of course, we cheered like nobody's business. Tat's one of the basic things to do while you were in camp. *hahahz*
The making of Bart Simpson's dessert, Under the Umbrella, for the grand finale presentation on the last night of camp...

These were the three who did most of the job. The rest were either sitting and lazing ard or busy taking pictures. Like me. *hehheh*

Shereen & me... She's the only one I know who's got the exact same modules as me. *hahahz*

Ubrina & me. She's also taking the same modules, but major differently.

...BEFORE...

...DURING...

...AFTER...

During the finale night's presentation, it was entertaining, especially from this grp of peeps. Tat guy was wrapped in toilet papers and towel. He spoke and acted in a sissy manner. Which reminds me pleasantly of Lester. *hahahz*

Hey Leslie! Seems like you found your soulmate!!! *wahahahz* No offense lah, dude.

Coming to the end of the night was the mass dance. The music was great, the ambience was erm, so-so, but it's the people who made it SUPERB.
Like I said, we danced like mad, enjoyed ourselves to the max.
It's like clubbing at the hottest club, except tat there wasnt any alcohol. Shucks.

After the dance, which ended ard 1:30AM, we were shagged, but we still went out for supper.
Thanks to our OGLs, who sacrificed their beauty sleep and led us outside NIE to this coffeeshop (although we got a little lost), and we had roti prata, the only food tat's available at 3 in the morning. *hahahz*
So we slacked and chatted for an hour plus before heading back.
On the last day, we had debriefs, some prize-giving ceremony, seemingly endless of cheerings and games, and of course, groups and companies pictures.
One of the games required the contestants to eat as many chili as possible. I mean, realli swallow them and stuff lyktt.

The guy in white ate in total 18 chili padi can!!! His face was fricking RED at the end of the game. So obviously, he won. But three cheers to Sulaiman (the one in red, my grp) who choked up 7 chili padi. *claps!!!*

Aniwae, there's always separation after every gathering.
The camp has officially ended.
And my bag was heavy.
Thank GYM for dad, who came to pick me up and waited for 2 whole hours at the carpark. *hahahz*
*** *** ***
Home sweet home, man.
I miss BeBe.
BeBe misses me.
She literally went berserk upon seeing me, and started sniffing me like mad. *lolz* Love her.
I slept for 13 hours straight until this morning, when my mum had to practically shake me to wake me up. *muahahaz*
Tat's the thing abt camping.
You'll lack in sleep.
And more sleep.
But 13 hours wasnt enough for me.
I need more to recuperate.
Till then, ta-da!!!
=)
p/s: I can't wait for Friday to get my timetable!!! Praying real hard tat I'd get a good one. *crosses fingers*
p/p/s: Super sorrie again for the poor quality of the pictures. I tried my best. *hee*

Teambonding: Amazingly Fun!

Today's teambonding activities were realli fun...
Most of us were pretty enthu, which made the whole thing more enjoyable.
In my group there were 23 of us, and we were going to hafta stick together for the rest of the year to do this GESL (Group Endeavours Services Learning) project... some community service thing which sounds pretty fun...
Aniwae, we named ourselves Bravehearts. Cool, isnt it? *hahahz*
So, for the four hours, we played lots of ice-breakers and did an amazing race ard the campus...
Some of the stations were pretty classic (go thru the hoops in a circle...arrange ourselves according to birthdates without talking...blah blah blah...)... and at one point everything became a mess and we juz anyhow skipped the stations and in the end, we still got the clues and completed the race... *hahaz*
We managed to solve the puzzle eventually, and after the debrief, we were free to go!!!
My friend and I were soo damn fricking hungry tat we gobbled down the sandwiches they gave us and still not full.
Went to Jurong Point to haf KFC... *hahahz*
I can assure you... Jurong Point is sooooooooo going to be my next hangout place.
Like, seriously.
That was my maiden trip to JP, and it was okie lah... More things to shop and eat than at WS...
We shopped ard but can't buy anything coz we were both broke... We were waiting eagerly for our pay to come lor...
Pay, pls come faster, I beg you!
Aniwae, I dun think I can spend as freely as I want this time round.
Need to save save save for my 3rd and 4th years...
So, tat's all for now.
You will hear from me next monday, after I come back (hopefully in one piece!) from my camp...
And I'm soooo looking forward to it.
*hahahz*
Dun be amazed by my sudden enthusiasm...
Told you, I'm going to change my attitude towards skol life now...
I was tooo dead and dull during TP years, and I dun want tat to happen again.
So this time round I'm gonna be more active in school activities and in the meantime, make more friends and widen my pathetic social circle...
*lolz*
p/s: I'm sooo gonna miss BeBe for the days and nites I'm away... *tsk tsk*

The Simpsons Movie

Yippie!!
There's no skol today, so dun hafta wake up early.
But I still woke up early. *hahahz*
By 11.59am, I positioned myself in front of my laptop, stared at the clock until it struck 12.00pm, and I logon to the NIE portal.
It was time to register my modules.
I'm not kiasu or wadsoever okie.
It's juz tat I like to prepare early and get everything over and done with. =)
Luckily the system dint crash on me. I imagined every other ppl logging in at the same time as me, trying to register all at once.
It was done in a flash.
And tat's it. No turning back.
English and History (I hope my timetable isnt going to be B.A.D)...
May they become great working partners and boost their leader (tat's me!) to a higher level and achieve outstanding results.
*cross fingers*
Napped for a couple of hours before I went out to meet XY at TM for the Simpsons movie.
Shopped ard while waiting for her, and got myself a pair of shorts at Double Index. *heehee*
Had my first meal of the day at MOS Burger... Dun ask me why I dint eat during the day.
All right, I'll tell ya.
I've got no mood to eat. Amazing right... Probably it's the school-started-and-it's-time-to-study-and-be-a-student thing tat's giving my pressure.
Or rather, maybe it's becoz of a nightmare I had recently...
Come to think of it, I think this might be the main reason.
I dreamt of two ghosts in my room. Two veri ancient-looking ghosts.
The dream was sooooooooo vivid tat I could still remember it as clearly as ever. (it's hard to pen down the 'juicy' details, so ask me to retell everything if you see me.)
Went to GYM immediately the next day when I woke up, and I felt calmer. But the nagging feeling tat my dream could be a way of telling there is something in my room is still there.
And BeBe made things worse.
They say dogs have a thing for sensing such things, and I think it's true.
BeBe dint want to step into my room AT ALL after I had the nightmare, and she kept staring fixedly at one point, and then she would turn her head around to stare into space. Where and wad she's staring I DUNNO... but it was eerie.
I told my mum abt it, and she thot I was crapping. *roll eyes* Apparently she dint believe me. *sigh* Since then, I ate veri little.
BUT! I would prefer to believe it's the start-of-school reason tat's ruining my appetite. *haha*
Aniwae, coming back...
The Simpsons movie.
It was pretty lame but rather funnie.
Go watch it if you need a laugh.
Embrace the ridiculous moments of the show with an open mind.
Warning!
Never watch it if you are a serious person who's looking for a solid and strong storyline of a movie, or if you are a person with a low sense of humour.
Ta-da.
I muz sleep now.
Need to go school tmr at 9am for some teambonding activities.
Yay! So fun. Can make friends le...
=)

My 'First' Unofficial Day at Skol...

Gotta reach skol by 8:30am.
I woke up at 5:15am.
Need I say more???
*tsk tsk*
I'm realliiiiiiii tired.
Slept thru almost the whole journey on the train...
Skol today was veriiiiii dry.
All day long we sat in the LT, listening to each professor talk about, or rather, promote their own department.
BUT! It wasnt tat bad, to be fair to them.
Most of them were veri entertaining. They have a high sense of humour, and their English is superb.
This was especially so for the English and History presenters, in my humble opinion.
I've realli enjoyed the English presentation, whereby the professor joked ard and juz being veri engaging with his audience.
He talked abt the Old English and how the position of words in a sentence does not matter in Old English.
However, in modern English, it matters A LOT.
"John loves Mary" is not always equal to "Mary loves John."
*hahahz*
I'm sooo going to major in English.
I was still contemplating as to which minor I'm going to take, and I've pretty much made up my mind after listening to their talks.
Initially, I was keen on doing Biology as my minor.
But the Biology professor turned me off, and after second and third and fourth thoughts, I've decided to say bye bye to Biology, or rather, all the three Sciences coz I'm realli not a cut out for science-related subjects.
Juz the words ecology, dunno-wad mechanism, and dunno-wad chemistry can throw me up to the moon.
Nah. I'm more to the Arts. *heeheez*
Aniwae, I'm going to take HISTORY as my minor.
Yup yup.
I'm not mad, dun doubt yourself.
History is interesting okie!!!
Or at least, I'm sure the lecturers will make it interesting.
In History, I get to study like the rise of Hollywood, film as History, the life of Hitler and so on.
So tat settles it.
Tmr I can stay home *whoopies!* and do online registration for all my modules.
I predict it's going to be a busy year coz I need to do SIX modules, I think.
SIX worz...
Last time in TP Biz I need only do four or five, sometimes even three only. *tsk tsk*
No more slacking for me, it seems.
Time to buck up now...
Yay. So fun. Finally I can study le.
I'm not being sarcastic.
Trust me.

Room cleaning: Totally unexpected.

Momsie woke me up super early today, which made me so pek chek.
The weather's soooo nice to sleep in lah! *brrrr* So xin fu to juz stay in bed and do nth but sleep.
All thanks to her nagging - spoil my chance of going back to lallaland.
She wanna me to pei her go the super big Giant @ (juz found out the name of the place) Tampines Retail Park (heard of it b4?) to buy some groceries. *roll eyes*
(Btw, nx time when you wanna cab to Ikea or Giant - DUN GO TO COURTS MEGASTORE!!! - say Tampines Retail Park. See if the driver knows.)
I was like, "Huh...you go yourself lahhhhhh....."
"But you need to buy toothpaste for your camp, right?!" She said in tat kind of I-will-not-buy-for-you-unless-you-go-with-me tone.
*sighz*
So right she is.
And I went with her.
Not becoz of the toothpaste. But going to Giant means I could go to IKEA as well!!!
*wahahahz*
So happie.
I need to get big and beautiful boxes to pack my stuff.
And guess what???
IKEA IS HAVING AN ANNUAL CLEARANCE SALE!!!
*whoopie*
Gosh, there's sooooooo many nice things tat are waaayyyy cheaper than normal.
It's juz too bad tat I'm currently, miserably, terribly, horribly, unbelievably BROKE. If not I'd surely buy tat shiny red carpet, tat pinkie chair, tat wall mirror, tat newly-arrived sweet-designed cabinet, and those wad's-not.
*haiz*
Aniwae, I was contented with the four LINGO FLORA cardboard boxes tat Momsie paid for me. *hahahz*
And they cost HALF their usual price! Tan dio ar~! So XY, if you are reading this, pls dun dui yourself. Juz head down and buy somemore!!! They're reallii fricking cheap now.
*** *** ***
After a quick lunch, I can't wait to get started on those boxes.
I thought it would be juz filling in the boxes with my clothes and stuff, but man!
I spent nearly THREE HOURS doing it lor!
It occurred to me suddenly tat I own soooo many things. Sigh.
Therefore I felt tat it was high time to do some spring cleaning of my room. Didnt expect to spend my Monday cleaning.

Messy messy, isnt it?

My dad was shocked when he saw the state of the room. He thought I was moving into hostel when school starts becoz he seldom gets to witness such a large-scale area cleaning. *hahaz*

There wasnt enuff space on the floor, so the bed came to help. Pardon me for the messiness. I'm deeply ashamed already.

*whew!* Finally, after throwing away tons of old stuff (I have no idea why I kept some of them until now), wiping my wardrobe, and filling the boxes to its maximum storage, I was done.

So proud of myself can. *throws out chest in a champion way*

3 nicely fill-to-the-max bags of old clothes tat are to be given away.

Boxes of forsaken bags and clothes.

My CDs collection. *tsk tsk* I dint know I've got soooo many albums until now. Should start downloading more often. *keekeez*

My prized possessions: CLEO mags, Harry Potter novels, and some other books.

*haiz*
How come I get to own sooo many, erm, useless things when they seemed useful to me at the time I bought them? I mean, why? If I dint buy half of those things tat I had, I'd probably be 10x richer.
My mum was like saying, "See lah? There won't be so many things if you dint 'want' them at first."
Damn true.
But shopping and buying things are natural abilities given to us, or me. So you couldnt blame me for 'wanting' and eventually buying those stuff.
I guess it's a part and parcel of life.
*yawns*
I'm tired.

p/s: Giant and Cheers are selling The Deadly Hallows. Can you believe it?

All we can do is eat, eat, and eat.

Seriously lor...
All we can do is to eat.
And eat.
And eat somemore.
There's practically nth much for us or me to do nowadays except to eat.
I can't go swimming becoz I just rebonded my hair. Dun wanna let it go to waste. You know, chlorine is bad for rebonded hair... Well, at least for mine.
I can't go running at the park becoz I'm afraid of getting dengue fever.
Most of all, I can't do any exercises becoz of the rainy but shiok weather lah! It's soooooo comfy to sleep in or simply laze ard in such cooling weather...
*haiz*
I'm so lazy after Xiang go NS... *hahahz*
Aniwae, they say neng chi shi fu (to be able to eat is a fortunate thing), so heck lor.
And I dun think I can enjoy those good food as much when skol starts... *boohoo!*
*** *** ***
As usual, I was the earliest one to reach WS, and I was LATE for 30mins on purpose lor, knowing their pattern. *roll eyes*
Bought a PINK organiser at popular, which was soooo totally unexpected... I bought it becoz it has nice colour-combinations...
And it's mostly in PINK:

Got a 15% staff discount. It pays to work at pop for 3 yrs can! Cheerios to Zhenxi, who's still doing cashiering there...
Headed down to town (again!) coz Recruit Lee misses orchard veriii much. *muahahaz*
Had a so-so dinner at Crystal Jade Kitchen @ Taka, where the auntie waitresses are ill-mannered and have APs. *tsk tsk*
Lousy customer service they provide, I'd say.
But my Zha Jiang Mian was quite tasty, and Celes's scallop congee was okie. I preferred Hui's spicy beancurd yee mian though, and Tiong's crispy noodles with preserved veggies looked... gross. But apparently it was nice coz he finished almost everything... (I wonder if he's juz plain hungry or has low standards when it comes to food...) *hahahz*
Shopped ard, and moments later, we were craving for ice creams. *lolz*
But we couldnt think of any ice-cream parlours that we can go to.
Swensen's is boring, and in Celes's word: cheapskate.
There isnt any Ben and Jerry's or Haagen Daz.
Eventually, we ended up at NYDC, eating cheesecakes...

My juz-eaten-b4-I-remembered-to-take-a-picture Big 'O' Cheesecake.

Celes's Iced Chocolate Milk Elephant-sth.

We slacked for quite some time, simply chatting away...

Few hours later, Celes got hungry again.

*wahahahz*
I tell you, this gal can realliiii eat lor. But the stuff tat she ate was pretty 'random' and apparently, non-fulfilling to her.
We went to cineleisure's food court, where we watched her chomp away her Korean spicy beancurd with rice. *hahah*
I realli pei fu her ability to put away sooooo much food. I can never allow myself to do tat.
Never.
*** *** ***
Back to TM to meet up with Wei Yi, the birthday boy.
Saw Nicky, Daniel and Alex at the station.
It's sooooooo nice to see them all coz it's been a nong nong time since we've met up.
Nicky is still the same: witty, cheeky, and funny. He's one of my smartest friend... GPA is 3.8 lor! Dun play play worz. And he will be in NTU too!!! We can be skolmates again in two yrs' time.
*heehee*
*** *** ***
It's midnight, and it was Tiong's turn to be hungry.
Kind Darren drove us to Bedok 85 for supper.
We ordered chicken wings (yummy!) and oyster egg (yumyum!)...
Tiong and Celes had porridge. (Yes, Celes had another bowl of porridge...)
See wad I mean?
All we can do is eat, eat, and eat.
Looks like we accumulated lots of fu qi... (neng chi shi fu, remember?)

Me, Darren, Hui.
Tat's all for Saturday, which passed in a flash.
p/s: Pardon me for the lack of photos. I forgot to bring my DC.
p/p/s: It's 3:10AM now. I'm tired. But my hair is still wet. How to sleep????
p/p/p/s: Harry Potter and The Deadly Hallows is out. Everyone has it. And I want it too.

Registration at NIE.

Met up with my new found friend-cum-skolmate to go skol tog. Fun, isnt it.
We reached there like, superduper early. (I think we will always be the early birds since we live so far away.)
The registration was held at the gymnasium, so the bus stop to alight wasnt the usual one with the overhead bridge. And since we were still unfamiliar with the place...
Guess wad happen to us?!?!
Right. We stopped at the wrong bus stop.
To be more accurate, we actually sat thru the ride coz my friend was like saying it's the next one after the u-turn.
But u-turn nv came.
Instead, the bus turned a corner to the road tat leads to the main road (199 is a loop service)...
Shit.
It's like we took the bus into the skol and out again for nothing.
We immediately got off the bus in the middle of the 'forest'.
It was already damn embarrassing to get off at the ulu bus stop, coz any person with a brain will see tat ppl who wait or alight at that particular bus stop are those idiots who got lost.
But the embarrassment dint end there coz fate juz like to make fun of us.
199 came from the opposite almost immediately after we alighted, and we quickly flagged for it.
The bus stopped for us. And suddenly, the quiet road became infested with cars tat kept coming and preventing us from crossing over.
Wah lau.
I dunno how to explain the situation we were in at that point in time clearly, but it's sufficient to juz know tat it was plain embarrassing.
We couldnt cross the road without knocking down by a car.
But no choice.
We had to wait for ALL cars to drive away, which took ard 5 mins.
FIVE
mins leh! It's like sooooo long lah!
But the bus driver was VERIIIIIIIIII nice. He waited for the traffic to clear, and ultimately we managed to get on it.
And oh! Did I mention tat there were MANY passengers on the bus tat time?
So imagine the looks on their faces. I could feel them throwing daggers at us from their stares for losing their five mins.
*haiz*
*** *** ***
The registration process took an hour plus to finish due to all the queuing up.
My friend saw her TP lecturer there, which was an amazing thing lah. She called him and he came over to us.
It turned out tat he's studying the post-graduate programme to get a qualification to teach in primary schools.
*hahahz*
But it's weird, isnt it...? I thot it's better to teach at polys rather than at primary schools infested with little screaming brats...
Aniwae, I've gotten my matric card from NTU, and it's realli nice. I love the NTU admin ppl or whoever who did the cards.
They made my face look slim and slender!!!
*muahahaz*
Now I'm not afraid of showing off the card to whoever who wanna see it. *heh heh*

I'm such a Tai-Tai today...

*woo-hoo~!*
Shopping is such a powerful remedy for ppl like me who's been hibernating at home for the past few days... *hahahz*
Enjoyed myself muchie today...
I went back to TP in the morning leh!
So happie happie!
It's like back to the old days, when I queue for bus 15, then sit thru the 20-odd-min ride, climb the nong stairs and walk across the nong bridge...
*sigh*
Realli miss those days... Dun laugh at me, but I got all emotional on the bus ride coz the memories juz flooded into my head at tat point. I dint cry, fyi.
Aniwae, I found Celes zapping diligently in the library for her sketches of mahjong chair tat is designed specially for elderlys. So cool, right. She's going to build a mahjong chair for old ppl.
Like, wow.
After which, we ate western food at the Design canteen worz!!! *slurpz*
Fish & chips + Teh-C bing = double happiness. *awwww*
*** *** ***
And then it's SHOPPING time!!!!
Can't believe the two of us spent nearly three hours at Far East alone.
Obviously, we bought quite a hefty.
Celes got herself a cutesy blouse from a dunno-wad-it's-called shop. It sells this VERIIIII chic wallet from anna sui tat I'm VERIIII tempted to buy.
But I've got lotsa wallets at home, and Momsie says changing wallets often will cause your money or fortune to leak. Which is damn true. Juz look at my financial status. It's realllllllliiiiii bad.
And I've discovered a horrible thing when I checked my acct earlier:
The bank has started to deduct $2 from my acct every month le!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's so fricking unfair lor! I'm not even 21 yet!!!! *hrmpf*
Aniwae, back to the anna sui wallet. I dint buy it in the end coz I was suddenly reminded of the red Espirit wallet my dear couz got for me. *hahahz*
BUT!
I managed to buy a pair of black skinny jeans, a pair of black pumps, and a white belt. Triple happiness lah...

I'm so into black & white now.
Saw a black bag ( try repeat 'black bag' ten times. Faster.) which looks great on me. *wahahaz*
But I controlled myself. I ren (tolerated). And thankfully, tat $50 can go into my future Gucci bag tat I'm saving for my 21st birthday present. Nice thinking, isnt it? *heh heh*
While Celes and I were yakking abt some shirts at some push-carts, there was dis auntie who eavesdropped on our conversation.
And then she suddenly joined in, which gave us quite a scare. Celes was like, stunned for a min, unable to react.
That auntie was a freak lor. But to be fair to her, maybe she's juz trying to give us her opinion (which we dun nid it, thank you very much)...
But it's like so weird lah! Where got ppl juz cut into strangers' conversation de?? *tsk tsk*
We walked away quickly.
*** *** ***
After 'exercising' the entire afternoon, it's high time for some high-tea. Like wad tai-tais always do.
Slacked at Starbucks, one of our favourite hangouts.

My raspberry frappucino ice blended cream. Sweet... =)

When we got up to leave, I saw a red colour bill under Celes's chair. I thot she dropped her ten bucks or sth.
But when we picked it up, it's a bloody 10 INDIAN rupee.
Excitedly, we went to a money changer, thinking we could at least get some Sing bucks in exchange.
The ah neh was also veri excited when we told him we wanted to change some rupees.
But his expression changed when he found out it was only 10 rupee.
Becoz 10 rupee = 3o CENTS.
*stunned for 3 secs*
We threw the rupee away (not in front of ah neh, duh!)... *tsk tsk*
At the money changer, there was dis butterfly resting on the glass. It has unique patterns on its wings, and Celes shot it. With my camera, obviously.

Close-up.
Celes can be a photographer. Realli. She's sooooo pro at taking pictures now. Cool. I'm going to have a photographer as my friend in the future. Be happie for me.
At Wisma, the only store I love to shop is obviously Forever 21.
It's been ages since I stepped into Forever 21. But amazingly though, I dint fancy anything. *sadded* Which it's a lucky thing la... It means I can save more money. *heehee*
Shopped ard somemore at Taka... got ourselves donuts! Luckily the donut shop does not require us to queue for hours, if not I'd surely juz die there.
Headed back to WS (yes, WS again!) and slacked at Yakun. *hahah* Wad can I say... WS is soooo hip now.
*** *** ***
Fyi, in case you are wondering, since I'm always whining and complaining abt being broke, how come I still got the money to buy those things tat I bought?
(It's true I'm broke. This I can swear.)
All thanks to my lovely, beautiful Momsie, my ultimate banker. And of course, my babah, the ultimate supplier for the family. Heart them muchie from the bottom of my pumping heart. *muackz*
*** *** ***
6 more days to the start of skol. The start of the new chapter of my life. Can't wait for it. Seriously.
But I'm overwhelmed by how time flies.
I juz hope tat it'll pass faster when term starts.
*yawns*
I gotta wake up at 6 AM tmr lor! So EEEEEEEEEE...
E for Early.
*tsk tsk*
Tmr's registration at NIE. Gotta reach there by 9 AM...
Gawd.

I still think this is the best...

Well, well...
Looks like this blogskin is better (at least to me!)...
User-friendly with lesser errors...
I dunno, but the previous one (butterflies), although was nice and sweet and all, it wasnt realli veri fantastic...
After choosing for a nong nong time, I still prefer this skin, and I'm sticking to it... =)
*** *** ***
Juz came back home after meeting the gals (celes, hui & min) at WS...
Guess wad?!
We actually spent nearly FIVE hours hanging ard WS.
FIVE HOURS LEH!!!
And at WS somemore.
Unbelievable.
WS is now soooooo hip tat it has become our favourite chill-out location.
First, we slacked at outside Mac.
Then we snacked at KFC.
Later we played at arcade.
And then we ate at Cafe Galilee (inside library).
Finally we slacked even more at Ben & Jerry, eating ice-creams.
*tsk tsk*
With tat two guys gone, all we can do nowadays when we meet up is to eat, eat and eat!!!
*muahahahz*
At the rate we are going, i'm veri scared tiong & xiang can't recognise us when they book out...
But no choice, there's no other activities for us to do except eating.
Nevertheless, I'm going to burn off all the calories by going SHOPPING tmr!!!!
*wahahah*
I know I'm broke, but still, there are many necessities I die die hafta buy for skol.
Like a pair of black jeans.
A pair of pumps or heels.
A belt.
Maybe a bag. Juz maybe.
*sighz*
Where the hell am I going to get all da money???????
*grrrrrr*
It's juz toooo much and soooo sad to be soooo damn poor right now.
The world is not fair to me.
*hrmpf!*

Momsie saw a pervert!!!

Count tat disgusting fellow lucky I wasnt there with my mum, or else I'd surely make sure he'd spend the rest of his remaining 20 yrs behind bars.
*grrrr*
My poor mother and her fateful encounter:
This morning, my momsie was walking home via the fishing pond (she always walks to and fro WS via the town park) and it was drizzling slightly.
She saw one uncle, wearing a shirt + sports shorts (veri short shorts, know wad I mean?) sitting on a bench, reading a newspaper (well, pretended to be reading aniwae), with his legs opened wide wide.
At first, momsie thot it was weird tat he was sitting out there in the light drizzle. And it was even weirder tat he's sitting in such a strange position.
Being highly alert, and with a radar so sensitive to crazy ppl (like, literally crazy!), momsie knew something was wrong. Veri wrong.
But she had to walk past the man to get home, so she's got no choice.
When she walked nearer, she suddenly saw IT.
IT was 'dangling' outside his shorts, and apparently the owner of IT knew it (obviously, duh! Wouldn't he feel cold if IT was outside without any form of protection???), but dint do anything to conceal IT.
WTH.
Of course momsie got a shock. Imagine seeing such sight early in the morning. Imagine IT belongs to a uncle. *brrrr*
The most common reaction was to juz faster walk away and pretend nothing was seen, and then silently cursing and swearing under your breath, abusing tat man's abnormal act.
Too late.
Mr. Pervert saw my momsie has seen IT, and was staring at her.
This scared her even more, and she hastened her steps.
Luckily he dint chase after her (he's got a bicycle, she says)...
So yeah, tat's the whole story.
Disgusting right?
Such perverts SHOULD NOT be left loitering ard public places, presenting a hazard to all women, young or old, and polluting the pureness and innocence of the scenery.
Oh wait.
Maybe he's one of those R-rated masseurs, whose massage business is on the rocks, and he desperately needs to find customers. Therefore he dresses sexily (to him, maybe), hoping against hope tat he can attract aunties and brainwash them to spend over hundreds for him to squeeze and rub their body, eventually leading to sex. Not only can this help to boost his withering career, but it can also satisfy his own needs.
Mr. Pervert: "If those china women can do it, why can't I??"
And thus he decides to showcast his little brother as a tool of publicity.
In the end, after sitting out there in the ever-changing weather for hours, he fails to seduce anyone.
His little brother gets a cold and the skin begins to peel off due to the sudden hot and cold weather.
Becoz of this, he finds it hard to stand up and walk as IT hurts him deeply.
"Die lah, dun tell me I have to sit here the whole day. So many mosquitoes leh! Wad a stupid idea this is." A stupid man calling himself stupid. So clever.
After slapping the 6th mozzie on his face, he catches the headline of the newspaper he has been pretending to read:
"DENGUE SITUATION AT PASIR RIS TOWN PARK WORSENS..."
He then turns to stare at the bloody squashed mozzie on his palm, a look of horror on his face.
"Hey you! Are you bitten by a mosquito?" a National Environment Agency guy, armed with a protective suit like those of astronauts, comes charging to him with a rifle.
Everything happens in a flash.
Stupid masseur is found to have contracted the disease. He is hospitalised and quarantined in a small stuffy room for a month, during which he has to attend court trials for 'intentional spreading of dengue disease outrightly' and 'illegal operating of massage salon'.
The judge sentences him to a lifetime imprisonment plus a fine of $5 (becoz his bank account only left $5.99).
Stupid + suay man: "GOD! Pls juz let me die lah...!"
And he did.
.

.
*muahahahz*
Pardon me. I juz can't help it.
At least 45 mins have passed after I finished the story. Yay.
I'm sooooooooooo rotting at home lor!
Nothing to do... no Goong to watch... all my friends are either in camp, school or at work.
Only left me, nua-ing at home.
*grrrrrrr*
Pls let the weekend come faster can?!

A Brand New Look.

Suddenly got the urge to do a major makeover for my blog in the middle of the night.
Juz finished finalising every little details, and man, editing the template was damn hard okie!
But it's interesting though... spent hours staring into my laptop - bad for the eyes, kiddos! - but it's quite worth it lahz...
The outcome of it was pretty much wad I have in mind...
Veri pinkie, yes! Which is why I lurve it soooo much! Pretty pretty! =)
And well, they say nothing is perfect in the world, and I think it's rather true.
Coz this blogskin does not allow me to have archives... *boo!*
I've figured the only way for u ppl to read the previous previous previous and more previous posts: I put up all of the past month's worth of juicy tales, so juz scroll down and down and down until, well, you wish to stop scrolling.
Aniwae, you may say tat I've too much time to spare to do all this stuff, when I could have done something meaningful like helping an old lady to cross the road, or join the govt's call to fight the mozzies, but hey...!
You are right.
I was tooooo free.
But I did some 'quality' stuffs for the day okie!
1. Went to rebond my hair... *heehee* Yup yup! Curly and frizzy, bub-bye! Silky and straight, cheerios! *muahahaz*
2. Vacuumed the house. *awww* So nice of me.
3. Napped for a couple of hours. *yawns*
4. Ordered mac for dinner. *bleah* Fries were soggy. *bleah bleah bleah*
In case you are wondering... I had to settle my own breakfast, lunch and dinner coz my beloved parents went to Malacca (for a day nia) without me.
Boo!
It's like, I can go de lor! But Momsie was worried there's no one to look after BeBe and the house, so I muz STAY behind.
Which is like, not fair lor!
Although they only went for a day and it sounds boring (and dangerous!) going m'sia with parents and relatives, but still, it was like a mini getaway from Singapore right!!!
*grrrrr*
I'm not saying taking care of BeBe is a nuisance. She's been a realli good gal; she slept away most of the day.
Even when two uncles from the National Environment Agency knocked at our door and wanted to do thermal fogging INSIDE my house, BeBe dint make any noise.
Not tat I let them in; I rejected their kind offer coz it's pretty weird to let two strangers into our hse. Besides, I think Momsie will nag at me until my ears bleed for letting them in even though they have produced their identifications becoz she's not at home and she deems it as dangerous to open doors to strangers when she's not at home, and well, you know wad I mean. Mothers.
I guess the dengue situation at Pasir Ris is getting worse. *tsk tsk* Damn the fishing pond.
Btw, eating an egg tart + a swiss roll from Bangawan Solo is a bad, bad, bad combination/idea. Never try it anywhere, anytime.
It made me LS three times in 2 hours' time. THREE times leh!
Altho it's shiok, but it's a horrible ordeal to go through. The stomachache and all.
Can you imagine if I were to LS during the process of rebonding my hair, and the saloon has no toilet of its own, and the nearest toilet is a good 10-min walk away...?
*brrrr*
Can't imagine the consequence.
Aniwae, my point is... erm...
You decide.
I'm tired le.
*yawns*

Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix

Finally!!! Harry Potter's latest movie craze is out, and I've got a date with him!!!
*muahahaz*
As usual, the GV @ TM was P-A-C-K-E-D... The queue was damn damn long can!!!
Luckily we booked the tix, tks to Celes... =)
The movie was all right (though I still prefer the first one), although it was veri different from the novel...
If you ask me, the novel's better. Go read it if you haven't. Please. This is especially so for you to understand the plot, and also to prevent you from asking in a you-thot-it's-soft voice irrelevant questions like:
"Who's tat??"
"Huh, why lyktt?!?"
"Who? What? Where? When? How?!?!?!"
"Is he going to die? Is he going to die???"
It's VERI annoying if such people were to sit behind you. *shakes head*
Oh, and did I say tat the theatre was full??? Like completely full??
Not amazing, though. It's expected, coz it's Harry Potter!!!
Took a nong nong time to actually exit the cinema, becoz tons of people were leaving at the same moment. We'd definitely die in there if there's a fire.
*** *** ***
While waiting for the movie to start, we chilled at Starbucks and played some cards...

Me in Tiong's cap.

Juz to sidetrack a bit...
The next big thing on my wishlist is ta ta ta daaaaaa.............
APPLE IPOD (30GB)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's current retail price is ard $436...
Which is like, wow.
Given my present financial situation, it's near impossible for me to get it.
But trust me, I WILL get it. It's juz a matter of sooner or later.
Meanwhile, lemme juz dwell on it...
Should I get the white one...

Or the black one...??

The black one.
*Sigh*
Let my mamma or poppa strike lottery, can???

It's not really tat fun after all...

Yesterday's trip to tekong wasnt tat ideally fun.
We thot we could walk ard FREELY or sth...
But nahz... *tsk tsk*
We toured ard BMTC School 2, led by a sergeant, who looks muscular and tough but VERI soft-spoken...
One of the 'places of interest' we went was their swimming pool...
Wow.
No meng nans. No suai ges.
All DPs. (fyi, DPs are those overweight ppl.)
Now you see wad I mean???
It was veri tiring lor. We walked and walked. We climbed and climbed the stairs.
The only good thing was that the air at tekong was realli, realli, realli fresh. You can really smell the difference.
Then we went into a lecture theatre, whereby there's a short presentation of soldiers' gears and stuff...

Saw the soldier in full combat in the middle back of the pic? We thot it was a mannequin, coz he dint move AT ALL during the entire presentation. It's only when the speaker introduced him did we know he's a living person. *sigh*

After resting a while at one of their canteens, we proceeded to another talk at the auditorium...
Damn boring.
Tat talk was actually a brainwash to the guys. It showed all the positive aspects of NS, and how honourable and proud they shld be to serve the nation. Talk abt being patriotic.
Then it was lunchtime at their mass dining hall (Celes and I dint eat...the food's not tempting us at all.), and after tat, it's time to go back. *sigh*
I guess the only fun thing was the ferry ride. Wow.

Headed down to Orchard to meet up with MinMin.
Had a great time eating and shopping with the gals...
Bought a piece of red cardigan at Far East Plaza. *whoopie!*

Did you know there's Toys 'R' Us at Paragon?? Like, wow. I dint know leh, and I can't believe there's one. MinMin insisted there is, and we were like, not quite trust her.
And it turned out there is. *hahahz*
Sorrie, MinMin, for not believing you.

MinMin and her idol, Spongebob.

I can't find Hello Kitty.

Well, tat was the end of Friday the 13th.
Veri, veri exhausted.
But still got energy to watch Princess Hours. *hahahz*
Damn nice lor!
And it's gonna be boring soon coz I have no more VCDs to watch le.
*sianz*
