Monday Blues...

A damn frustrating Monday ever.
Train service broke down for a whooping SEVEN hours.
Not that I care it's SEVEN hours, but why did it have to break down when I have morning classes and train is the only transport I've got???
*grrrr*
But one lucky thing was that my dad was still at home, and he gave me a ride to Bedok so I can take train from there...
Initially, I was debating whether I should cab down from there to school cos I predicted I would be very late for tutorial.
But when I thought of the horrible fare hike PLUS morning peak charges (not to mention a definite jammed at PIE), I embraced the train.
*haiz*
It was packed till the fullest can.
I was squeezed all the way to the back of the last cabin, but that's okie.
I had to lean back to back, shoulder to shoulder with strangers, and that's okie still.
Holding my breath, trying hard not to inhale when an uncle's arm was raised above my head?
Definitely NOT okie.
*tsk tsk*
It was till then that I realised the importance of public transports to us the commuters (well, unless you've got five cars at your service).
Obviously, I was late for 15 mins even though I cabbed from Boon Lay, but thankfully, my prof did not really care (maybe he didnt even notice me enter the class). *whew!*
One of my friends, who was also affected, told me she shared a cab with a total stranger who's going in the same direction as her, by asking down the unbelievably long queue (imagine the taxi stand at WS with the queue till OCK. That's VERY long, mind you).
And the total cab fare amounted to a whooping $48.
*heart attacks*
Imagine if I took a cab ALL BY MYSELF. *shakes head*
Ok, enough of my whining.
Very very very tired now.
And I've still got three more unfinished readings to do for tutorial tomorrow.
*sigh*
My brain is dead.
How...
