My Blessings to You, My Friend...

Today was a joyous occasion...

It was THAYA's wedding reception!!!!!

She's my poly mate who had helped me alot on projects and stuff like that...

So I was really touched when she invited me to her wedding reception at Banana Leaf Apolo, Little India, along with many other poly friends...

Had a hard time locating the restaurant...but tks to lustylester who turned on his charm on the indies when asking for directions, and viola, we found it.

This was my first time attending an Indian wedding reception, so surprises were everywhere.

But the biggest YET pleasant surprise was seeing Thaya in her lovely traditional Indian sari costume...

She looked soooo different with all the thick makeup, blingbling jewellery, and flowers wrapped around her neck... *hahaz*

The wedding reception was a buffet-style lunch. Food was kinda spicy, but generally not bad.

Of course, we took lots of photos with the bride and bridegroom, and lustylester, being his usual self (low EQ, that is!) insisted on having weird and funny poses on the stage... *rolls eyes*

That is soooo lester... *hahahz*

He then got himself invited onto the stage by thaya, and he gave an impromptu speech just like that *snaps fingers*...

A guy among the guests was so impressed by him that he asked for his no. before we left.

Wonder what his motive was... Hmmm...

Anyhow, it was a quite an experience for me as it's not every day you can get to go to an Indian couple's wedding reception. So, there you go.

Before we left...

After the whole thing, shaz, lustylester, namira and I visited GYM and shopped for a while at Bugis Street.

We then cabbed down to PP where we developed the photos we have taken.

And on the cab, another round of madness began...

I dunno who came up with the idea of making our very own MTV, and whose idea was it to sing CNY songs...

Inspiration just hit the two of them, and there I was, obeying to their instructions but having fun all the same... *hehhehz*

We made somemore videos, and lustylester is going to edit them, and I can't wait to see the end result!!

He says he's going to post onto YouTube.

So watch out for The Gossipys Music Video which is releasing soon, and be prepared to be amused!!! (I seriously hope this isn't going to affect my career in the future)...

I'm so tired after a day of fun, joy and laughter...

But I felt kinda guilty as I havent been studying/revising my work for the past two weeks, and I felt really behind...

*tsk tsk*

But who cares.

Life is so fragile. I must enjoy and pamper myself while I'm still young and not to worry about unnecessary matters, right??
