Met a bloody stupid/retarded man while dining at Lemongrass, DTE.

He tried to show off his 'taste' and 'wealth' by making the stupidest-ever comment which he thinks is targetted at others but in the end, he basically just shot himself in the head, face, ass, everywhere.

Stupid.

We were there for dinner, and everything was perfect, well, except for the slow service and the not-enough-green-apples-to-be-freshly-juiced-to-fill-a-jug-for-four-people mini episode. Other than that, the atmosphere was just nice, and the food was fantastically...spicy.

Anyway.

Just when we were finishing the remaining dishes, this man in his mid-40s and his wife came into the restaurant and plopped down two tables beside ours.

One of the staffs handed him and his wife the menu and left.

That retard man had a stuck-up/arrogant look on his face, but I have nothing against that. Cos some people are just born with it.

But then hor!

He loudly made this remark while he flipped through the pages of the menu:

"这些是给乞丐吃的!" ("These food are for beggars!")

Wah. Biang.

We couldnt believe his nerve.

He then beckoned the waiter over to him and demanded him to recommend a few nice dishes and to open a bottle of red wine because he thought that the food they serve are for beggars.

Bloody stuck-up (and not to mention stupid) can!!!

Like 目中无人 loh!

Can't stand these kind of persons.

Firstly, he had just insulted the other diners who ordered food from that menu, and that 'the other diners' consisted of me and my whole family!

Secondly, he had just insulted himself. Perhaps unknowingly (which makes him look more stupid) because he ordered the food 'that are meant for beggars' for himself and his wife. So what did that make them to be? Didnt think twice before shooting his mouth off, huh?! What an airhead. *tsk tsk*

Thirdly, he could jolly well patronise a high-class restaurant at a 6-star hotel if he doesnt want to eat 'the food for beggars'. But he didnt! Why AH!?

Oh I think I know why!

Cos he's a act-rich-buay-rich 老头子 who's trying to flaunt his who-knows-how-much wealth.

Or perhaps he's just a lowly-status uncle who had just won a consolation prize in 4D after betting for 20 years, and he's too overjoyed that he forgot his manners.

I can come up with 100 more possibilities, but I wouldnt waste my time on that.

In all, I despise him.

And if I were the waiter, I'd promise I'll add extra 'ingredients' into his food to 'thank' him for his rude comment.
