Happy Birthday, Singapore and TingTing!!!

HAPPY 43rd BIRTHDAY, SINGAPORE!!! =)

My country, my home, and I'll always be proud of you.

But I'm still in the consideration of migrating to a country like Australia or Canada or Switzerland in the future, cos I wanna marry an ang moh and have eurasian kids, and their pace of life is slower and less stress than yours. *hehs*

As for now, I'm contented and happy where I am.

May you be as prosperous as ever, and may the number of ERPs be reduced, and may more highways be built, and may the cost of living be 50 times lower.

HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY, TINGTING!!! =)

She has the same birthdate as Singapore! So cool!

Tingting, or Jesslyn (we have so much in common in our names!) is my primary school and poly mate.

The very nice, helpful, patient, diligent, smart, approachable, kind, gentle and lovely girl I've ever known.

Anyway, Lester and I met up at TM to get her present just before her chalet (very last minute, right! *tsk tsk*), and after much hesitation, we got her something from The Body Shop, and a card from some gift shop as well.

And then we did a very cheapo thing:

We 'borrowed' some pens from Popular so we can write our greetings and wishes on the card.

Cheapskate, right?!

But we just wanna save some money mah! *hehhehs*

When we got to the chalet at DTE, man, so many people were present.

This shows that Tingting's 人缘 is very good!

Saw some 好久不见 poly friends like Qian Er, Michelle, Yijun, Peixian, Yafang, and Rebecca.

It was nice catching up with them.

And then it was time to cut cake!

Cos we touched a Portkey and were transported to Genting Highlands.

Okie. Not funny.

They were playing with the fireworks, which explained the smoke.

Hang around a little more, and it was time to head home.

So overall, it was quite fun with all the chitchatting and catching up.

PS: I'm so into tying ponytails now. I managed to get rid of all the irritating and fugly hair on the back of my neck, which looks sparkly clean and hair-less now! Finally can tie my hair!! So happy. =)
