Party Shopping!
Wanna say a HUGE thank-you to my beloved Gossipys for combing almost the whole of Bugis with me for my party needs. I love you guys sooooo much!!!
We literally walked from Parco Bugis to Bugis Street to Arab Street to The Concourse and finally to this ICB building, where we found THREE shops (side by side somemore!!) that cater to party planners like me. Hehs.
After comparing prices and all, I bought some nice pinkie and creamy white balloons and gold and silver streamers. =) I'm so gg to deco the chalet!!!
Oh I didnt mention here before, but I'll be having a chalet at Costa Sands this coming BIG BIG SUNDAY for my BIG BIG DAY!!! I'm trying not to get too excited about it cos bad things WILL happen when I get too excited about it. Things such as guests becoming pilots or aircraft carriers (= fang wo fei ji) and 30 ppl become 10, that kind of stuff. So I'm planting sad thoughts in my mind whenever happy thoughts pop into my head, you know, just to ward off the Devil's Eye. I'm super 'pandang' or whatever you call it. Playing safe here, eh.)
Back to the party.
I wouldnt dare call it a party cos I dun have ponies to ride on, I dun have fantastic prizes to give away should one hits the bull's eye or something (*roll eyes*), and I dun have a cool DJ to spice up the atmosphere (but I do have Lester, the-entertainer-for-all-events).
I only have food and beverages to offer.
So 'gathering' would be more appropriate.
After getting the deco stuff (I dint get any HAPPY BIRTHDAY banners cos didnt fancy any), we headed to V8 for dinner and some gossiping. Both were yummy. =)
Spent some 'quality' time in Kino and then in the arcade.
Basketball was sooo fun!!! How shiok my life would be if I have the whole machine to myself in my own house in the future. I can play for as long as I want without having to insert any tokens or trying to beat that unbeatable score on the scoreboard. I seriously must put that as one of my must-achieve goals in life.
The day then ended with an amusing 'What Happens in Vegas' at Princess, Bedok. Tix is really dirt cheap there, as compared to other cinemas.
And nope, the seats are not wet. At least, I havent encounter any. Hehs.
This time round, we didnt take as many pics as I would have liked, but still, there's always room for one. Or two.
Lester is desperate for some lollipops:
Our tickets - for you to see how they look like in case you havent been to Princess for a movie before.
PS: Our dearie Lester will be going for LASIK soon. Let's all wish him the best cos Shalyn's prediction MUST NOT come true. Hahs.
