Shrek 3 + MAYDAY concert!!!

I'm busy like a bumble bee... :)

Morning went to work as usual...

Afternoon went to watch Shrek 3 (free!!!) at Lido with my colleagues...

Night was devoted to The Max Pavillion for Wu Yue Tian MayDay concert!!! *laughz*

No wonder BeBe gave me a bu shuang look when I got home after the movie and left a short while later, coz I practically ignored her the whole day, and she's mad becoz she's not realli used to getting the cold shoulder from me... *hahahz*

Aniwae, I would like to thank my shifu's hubby for giving us all a ride to Shaw Centre, and Senior Nurse Pushpa for treating me to popcorn and drinks... *hahahz*

The movie was great (unexpectedly!) coz I thot I would fall asleep inside or sth (I dint watch Shrek 1 & 2, and I'm not realli a fan for cartoon/ anime/ wadever you call those kiddie movies!)...

Oh ya btw, Singhealth Polyclinic booked the whole of Lido 2 specially for the staff and families and friends... So generous right...

Actually not realli lehz, coz family members or friends had to pay for the tix if they wanna come... only the staff has got free tix!!! *smirkz*

Right after the movie, I had to dash home to prepare for the night... *heeheez*

Had a quick quick shower before I changed into sth nicer and 'glamorous' for the concert (I give MayDay mian zi okie!!)... *kekez*

We reached there super early can!!! Someone's VERI anxious tat she'll miss the concert so we had to meet early... *roll eyes secretly*

We stood outside the entrance, waiting for 8pm to come, and my stomach was growling......

Then, XY bought a RED MayDay T-shirt @ $26, and she's cashless after tat... *roll eyes* But to be fair, the shirt is nice lahz... Although I would prefer the black one... *heeheez*

Everything was in a mess, and there's soooo many, shall I say, enthusiastic + kiasu fans crowding ard the counters, tat anyone could juz take sth away without paying, and no one would realli know... It's tat bad, juz imagine.

But having integrity, XY obediently waited for her turn and paid up... *hahahz*

We then queued up to enter the hall... *brrrr* Veri cold inside... Found our seats instantly, and becoz it's VERI early still, we cam-whored and chatted and checked out ppl... *hahahz* The concert started quite punctually at 8:25pm due to Singaporeans with their always-cannot-be-punctual behaviour... *sneer* Not like us, we are so freaking on time... *grinz*

MayDay was simply SUPERB... I've went to many concerts before, and so far, I think last night was one of a kind and the best coz evrybody was damn damn HIGH!!!

It's realli no joke tat MayDay is crowned the biggest best Asian rock band (well, at least to XY lahz) becoz their performance was full of power, zest and more power...

Ah Shin was able to lead thousands of audience to a higher HIGH level with his powerful and charming voice, and the other four guys were simply too good for any words to describe them...

It's juz too bad tat our seats are sooooooooooo far away from the stage... Most of the time I had to watch the big screens to catch a view of Ah Shin, but hey! The atmosphere + music + lighting and everything else were realli worthwhile...

But as humans can never be satisfied due to their greedy hormones inhabited in them permanently, I still wish we had better seats... Ah Shin came off-stage to mingle with the front row people okie!!! *boo*

Also, it was a pity we dint buy lightsticks... We had nothing in our hands except our DCs, and it's pretty awkward to move an empty hand in a rock-and-roll fashion...

So one thing learnt: Always get lightsticks for concerts!!! =)

The concert lasted for a whoopie 3 hours, with encores and everything...

It's realli all about meaningful music + lyrics, jumping up and down, making as much noise you can (I was afraid to shout too much coz my voice is veri impt to me at work), and of course, getting high...

There's no spectacular dancers, no special guests, no bling bling stage costumes... It was juz MayDay at their peak...

However, one spoiler was tat the sound system at Max Pavillion wasnt veri fantastic... Most of the times the music sounded like screeches tat went "EEEEEE~~~~" whenever Ah Shin reached the high-pitched parts...

And oh, did I mention it was full-house??? Damn damn many people...

I saw one auntie totally into the qi fen, and her enthusiasm and her HIGHness definitely won't lose out to the young ones...

And she's got a lightstick.

And we don't.

*hahaz*

So, the concert was veri fun and engaging, especially during the L-O-V-E part...

It's totally beyond words, so let the pictures explain for me... I'm too tired now after uploading soooooo many pics and rearranging them and all... *haiz* It wasnt easy being a responsible blogger you know... :) Thanks to XY, for painfully sending me 85% of the pictures as my computer does not support sharing folders... *shake head* And dun be surprised tat most of them are full of Ah Shin... She's gaga over him... *grinz*

WARNING!!! - Dont overstrain your eyes. I'm not a rich bitch who can afford those utmost front row seats to take clear pictures of the five charming and talented guys, and I'm not going to apologise if your degree increases ten-fold.

I think it's Ah Shin... Or was it Monster? Or Shi Tou? Definitely not Guan You, coz he's the drummer and he can't stand and walk ard tat often, duh!

Ma Sha's solo... He surprised us with 'Yellow' from Coldplay... Erm, it's nice and all, but his English pronounciation has room for improvement... I wonder if he needs any English teacher??? *cheeky grinz*

We were a bit reluctant to leave, but I guess we dint show it... *hahahz*

Two months of waiting, and finally it's here and over...

Ah Shin said they'll be back next year at Singapore Indoor Stadium... Hopefully they'll stay true to their word, coz I'm gonna get lightsticks when they come again...

Okie, you guys better appreciate this entry, coz I realli spent alot of my precious precious time doing this... Sacrificing my sleep and my eyesight... Luckily Blogger saves my drafts automatically, if not I'll surely slam my laptop onto the floor out of bad mood coz I was totally logged out of Blogger at some point and my effort will go down the drain completely...
