Silly + Stupid

Although it's my third day working at the clinic, I am still a LONG LONG way to being a pro...

Wa lau... dint know a PSA (patient service assistant) hafta know SOOOOOOOOOO many things...

And u know me, I'm a veri VERI forgetful, careless n blur person...

So i made quite a few silly + stupid = embarrassing mistakes at work...

Firstly, I forgot to return a patient's BIRTHCERT to the father after photocopying... so hafta run down the counter to take it... *shakez head*

Then, I forgot to scan the patient's appointment card (which is VERI VERI IMPORTANT!!!) to view his records... I juz gave him the waiting no. to see doctor (can i add, he seemed very impatient n anxious to finish up the registering process, so I panicked a little n rush it thru...) and he walked off... but when i finally realised my mistake, I rushed out of the office to look for him (luckily he dint walk veri fast) n get his i/c no... *shakez head hopelessly*

So stupid rite? How can i be SO forgetful???

And den came the most idiotic part...

I think I'm a SCB lehz, which stands for Suay Char Bo...

My manager finally let me try out on my own to register the patients after lunch...

I was quite excited at this...

BUT den horz... after registering ONE pathetic patient, the machine tat prints out label stickers suddenly got JAMMED worz!!! My colleagues and I (3 poor ladies) spent quite some time trying to fix the machine, and dere's SOOOO many patients waiting... In the end, i'm left alone fixing it, while the other two resumed their work... Luckily the machine is fixed in the end... *whew!*

I'm so suay horz? In the morning everything's so peaceful, but when i'm trying to work, everything muz die on me... even the patients oso (they dint die of course!)... I got nasty "customers"...

Thankfully, time passes real fast and in a blink, I'm off work le... *hehehz*

I kept telling myself tat I muz buck up n up n up... I can't afford to be so forgetful n everything... No room for more mistakes le...

OH YA! Got sth disgusting to share:

When I left the polyclinic, I saw dis 60+ uncle looking ard the place... he den approached me to ask me the time (in hokkien) so I told him lorz... den dunno y he started to walk wif me, chatting...

At first i thot it's nth... old people mahz... always veri loh soh n wants to talk to ppl... So i juz entertained him lorz...

Coz his speech was veri blur and he speaks hokkien in a slang, so i can't realli understand wad he's saying... So i juz "uh-huh, ya lor, ha?" and in my mind, i was pitying the old man... So old n still sick (he's holding the clinic's plastic bag full of medicine)...

BUT i managed to catch some words he's saying...

"...kua nor kun.... kia yoh... zin pai seh lehz!" (see doctor...get medicine...so embarrassing)

"si meh? an zhua pai seh lehz?" (izzit? why embarrassing lehz?)

"...%&^&*#$&%&#......LAM PA SEYH... *embarrassed smiles*" (which means his penis is failing him)

IS THIS SEXUAL HARRASSMENT OR WAD??????!!!!!!!!!!! Why are you announcing tat ur cock is CMI to a stranger? And it's a LADY somemore! Dun u haf any shame???

Once i heard tat, THIS IS IT. I faster walked away...

Damn myself for pitying dis kind of "sick" ppl...

PS: Saw Huiying n Jessica during lunch when i went to the nearby hawker centre to ta pao... Was so shocked coz I knew dey are working at Jurong... Den i found out tat they are dere for training purposes... *hahaz* So qiao horz...

PPS: Leslie is such a big mouth... he told HY tat I got interview at MOE...*diaoz* I dint expect ppl like her to know (coz not veri close mahz)... *hahaz* Tks leslie!

PPPS: I'm shortlisted for an interview at SMU for the Bachelor of Social Sciences nx Mon... So shock n abit scared to receive the call... Heard tat SMU interviews veri tough... haf to realli outshine the rest of the interviewees so u can stand out... Wa lau... if tat's the case, think i sure peng de... Got intimidated by MOE, now SMU??? Die lah... And it's on mon... which means I haf to take leave le... which means one lesser day to earn $$$... So "shiok" rite *sianz*
