At Grandma's Place

I thot after CNY, i would nv nid to step into ah ma's hse again...

My previous annual routines were such tat I oni went dere once a yr to bai nian during CNY, and TAT'S IT. Juz once a yr... Even if dere's any events organised by my relatives, I will try to push it away as much as possible... You can say tat i'm all grown up, and lost the heart n soul to visit the place... *hahaz*

However, yesterday I broke the record... I guess it's becoz I got to drive there, so might as well use the chance coz i miss driving! AND another reason for the record-breaking is my xiao shu (small uncle)... Tell ya why later...

Aniwae, i think the main reason y i'm reluctant to spend juz a day of the weekend dere is tat i can't stand the amount of noise being created by those little devilish cousins of mine...

OMG, you can't imagine small children like them can produce the kind of noise they produce... It's amazing juz how big their lungs are in their tiny bodies... U can even hear the noise in the void deck (okie, i'm exaggerating here...) but you know wad i mean... *sheepish grinz*

And yesterday, there was like, NINE kids... Juz imagine it. *hahaz*

NOT to mention mother screaming away at her kids (notice I wrote "mother", not "mothers"... *hehehz*)

Thank goodness for the presence of Yiling-jiejie (my older cousin), who took up the role of childcare teacher, and spent the day playing wif the kids... And they played all sorts of games tat all resulted in screamings and of course, crying coz accidents ALWAYS happen to one kid after another... *haiz*

After a few minutes in the room playing wif dem, I can't stand it le... Had to leave the room asap b4 I lost my hearing... So i realli pei fu YLJJ who stayed in the small room for almost the whole day... *applause*

Tat's my Yiling-jiejie... she's superduper small size worz... I am a giantess standing juz beside her, so i dint dare take pics wif her... *hehehz*

See how creative YLJJ is? Can even use the CNY goodies container as a prop for the dunno-wad-it's-name game... But they had fun all the same... *heeheez*

Enough of those little brats...

Lemme introduce my small uncle to all...

A super-duper, chao ji wu di NICE n eligible bachelor, the best airplane technician of the technicians of SIA, a veri patient n loving man who doesnt smoke n gamble, but drinks occasionally lahz (but he's got class de, he drinks ICE WINE or RED WINE, classy!)... Looks-wise, nth more I can pinpoint... Juz a VERI super great guy... BUT why is he still single? *shrugz*

AND he can cook, you know? He made ROJAK n cooked NASI LEMAK for ALL of us... yummylicious! BUT the rojak horz, erm, nice is nice lahz, but he added long beans, which *urghz* me alot... *hahaz* AND those little kids + some adults ate ALL the yu tiaos away, leaving long beans, sprouts n other not-so-popular ingredients behind... *haiz* Other that tat, TWO thumbs-up (i wanted to put FIVE but i suddenly realised i dun haf so many thumbs) for the meal!

OH YA, almost forgot to mention one person here...

Well, i dunno his name la...

He's my small uncle's fren from m'sia (thot he was PRC coz of his accent, but nope.)... He rented a room at my ah ma's hse (so poor thing, his rented room was being used as a gambling den as my relatives were playing mj, *sighz*) since last yr, and yesterday was our maiden encounter *shy face*

*HAHAZ* Er xin.

Aniwae, wad i'm tryin to say is, I got abit of shocked when i entered the kitchen and saw dis particular TALL guy, wif hair like mu chun tuo zai (takuya) and looking veri shy n polite... For a moment I thot he was somebody's bf or sth... after kpoying ard, finally found out the truth... *hehehz*

BUT the zhong dian is: my momma is full of praises of him, after like, 10 mins of conversation wif him? *diaoz*

On the way back, while i'm so concentrating in driving, she kept praising n praising him...

"Ooooh!! He's so polite lehz!" *giggles*

*Uh-huh, izzit? How you know?" (focusing hard on the traffic)

"He call me Da-sao lorz! VERI polite rite?" *more giggles*

"Oh okie." (still concentrating on the road)

"Eh, he's a VERI honest guy lehz, I can tell one *giggles again*..."

*rolled eyes*

BUT den, my momma's sense of judgment veri accurate de... if she say the person is good, den is realli good... She's ALWAYS rite... Guess she has a pair of piercing eyes tat are able to look thru ppl's mind, juz like Dumbledore...

Pardon me, I'm into Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix rite now...
