A Letter from MOE...

I woke up dis morning to see a letter (On Government Service) addressed to moi... I flipped back n saw MOE's add...

My first thought was, "yay! I've received the official letter of registration as a relief teacher!"

BUT den horz......

When i opened it up, I was stunned...

It was a letter telling me i was shortlisted for an interview becoz I had applied for NIE...

???????!!!!!!!!!!!

I was shortlisted to teach general/chin lang at primary levels...???

*hahaz*

Unbelievable...

The interview is next wed, and I am abit nervous about it... Den questions tat dey might ask began to pop up in my head...

Why do you want to be a teacher?

What do you think are the qualities a teacher must possess?

How are you going to handle the children when they misbehave?

CAN YOU TEACH???

*gasps*

It's nerve-wrecking worz...

Den me mamma taught me the "model" answer to Qns 1...

Just say tat being a teacher is always my ambition from young... *diaoz*

So fake... *hahaz*

No one's gonna believe tat...

Unless i open my eyes big big and give dem a pure innocent look... maybe dey'll buy it... *grinz*

No matter, it's good to know tat if i managed to do well in the interview, i might be guaranteed a place at NTU!!!

BUT is teaching realli gonna be my career in the future?

Honestly, I still dunno wad i want to be or do in the future... Still feeling lost... *sighz*

Can't believe she still got the passion to work dere... Aniwae, she's rather sad abt her results... dint do as well as she had expected... BUT b4 she could ask me mine, I had to go... *hahaz*

Luckily i dint get to tell her, coz if i did, the whole of popular will know le... It's not tat i'm ashamed of my results... on the contrary, I'm 101% happie abt it... it's better den wad i had expected... I even dreamt I failed my accounting... but the results are satisfying... *hehehz*

Looks like a nerd... But it's neater... And it's cut by a shuai-ge... And I've got 20% voucher, compliments to XY... Helped me save some bucks...

Wanted to print my transcript so i can bring it to the MOE interview...

One-stop service damn crowded...

Saw many parents wif their kids... Looks like dey're appealing to study in TP... Which reminded me of my past... when i was so desperate to get a place in TP... Can realli understand wad dey r going thru...

During the wait, I received a call from Adecco... (oh ya, I went to apply at Adecco yesterday, and on tat day itself, I got a job offer le... So one thing proven: Adecco is damn efficient n effective, unlike RecruitExpress... so my frenz, look for Adecco to solve ur job-searching needs...)

I'm starting work the mon after nx (which gives me time to go shoppin for appropriate clothes n shoes) at Geylang...Polyclinic *hahaz*

Dun get all dirty up dere... working at Geyland doesnt mean it's "TAT" kind of work... *hehez*

Can't wait to start work soon...
