I H.E.A.R.T SCV! ~ Part 1

Thank goodness for SCV...

Or shld I thank goodness for pappa & mamma who agreed to haf it?? *hehehz*

BUT technically speaking, i shld thank their son, who initially + stubbornly wanna sign up for SCV programmes... and now becoz he's working n *ahem* earning big bucks, he applied for MORE channels (but den horz, mostly r educational, like discovery channels, wif a few entertainment ones)...

BUT i'm not gonna be grateful to him for my TV entertainment becoz ultimately, it's not him who paid for it!!! It's still our folks... SO......

Aniwae, I haf a few REALLI great programmes to introduce... Dey r my strength to help me pass through dese few days...

First up: Miami's Ink

For those who r clueless, this is a show about 4 angmohs + 1 jappie who opened a TATTOO shop at Miami. They r famous for their artistic, unique n individual tattoo-ing skills... BUT the show focuses mainly on their customers getting tattoos for various personal reasons, and some reasons can REALLI melt ur heart...

For instance, one episode features a 26yr old lady who wishes to get a tattoo as a loving memory for her brother who passed away from cancer... The tattoo is shaped as an angel doll wif a tear drop on her cheek... I tell you, when i saw the finished tattoo and listened to her story, I got all emotional... The tattoo is REALLI SUPER-DUPER nice lorz... wif all the shadings n highlighting... I simply adore it... And wad's touching is the meaning attached to it... Her brother had died for 8 years but she still cannot get over the grief (guess their gan qing realli strong, not like me n u-know-hu, HA.)... so she decided on a tattoo to symbolise a mark to her grief and time to move on... So it's realli sweet...

Miami's Ink is like a reality show, but it takes on a kind of different story-telling method, which is thru tattoos... Initially I thot ppl wif tattoos r uncouth ppl, and come on, I'm sure most of you guys out dere tend to associate tattoos wif ah bengs or mafia or crazy ppl who'll get aids from poking their skins wif needles...

BUT seriously, tat's not always the case... Some ppl tattooed to remember their loved ones, or to get inner peace, or as a reminder of their past which dey never ever want to go thru again... and the reasons go on n on... Dey come from all walks of life, and most of them r nv ah bengs or ah lians trying to act, erm, coolz...

Wadeva the reasons, whenever I watch the show, I always had the urge to run out of my house n get a tattoo on my upper right back to cover the ugly n unsightly mark I dunno how in the world I got it...

BUT i'm sure pappa'll KILL me if he found out i got a tattoo... *hahaz*

Next: The Amazing Race (Family + All Stars editions)

DIS r my all-time favourites... Simply heart amazing race...

Saw the finale episode for the family edition... My team, which I had supported right from the start, won!! The Linzes family: Alex, Tommy, Nick n Megan... *hahaz*

Amazing, I can rmb their names! *grinz*

I knew dey will win becoz u can never, and i mean, NEVER, see dem fight or cry or lose heart or lose temper at one another... These four siblings realli work tog, cheering n encouraging each other on and never to give up no matter how hard the Detour or Road Blocks were...

Unlike the other teams, like the Godlewiskis sisters (i hope i spell their first name correctly, but who cares?!) a.k.a Desperate Housewives or the Paolo family, who always quarrelled or got pissed off when the camera is on them... Damn it...

Tat's the difference between the winning team and the losers... Learn to be a part, not apart (sounds like some commerical rite, HA)!

Whenever I watch Amazing Race, i always fantasized myself taking part in the show... *hahaz*

How nice if i can win the prize money... BUT den, who will be my partner?? Den i start imagining wad it's like to partner wif each of my friends... *lolz* Due to sensitivity issues, let's just keep my imaginations to myself... for the moment, at least...

Now, the All-Stars edition... I was so DAMN DAMN pissed + surprised + astounded when Rob & Amber got eliminated so fast... It was SOOOO unpredictable n unbelievable... I CAN'T believe dey actually lost to Charla & Mirna (wadever their names lah) coz I simply HATE n DETEST dese two persons... my least favourite team in the show...

I know, Charla is a dwarf, so dere's some sympathy points, but who cares??? Dey dun deserve to win aniwae... they only managed to win Rob & Amber becoz of pure sheer luck... nth to do wif abilities...

Oh man, still upset abt RnA losing... without dem, the show is not as exciting as before... I'll still watch it though, but if i am forced to choose the team i'll support, it would be Eric & Danielle, but i honestly think dey won't last till the end... coz Lady Luck seldom fly past them...

I'm crossing my fingers tat C & M will get kicked out soon... Can't bear to see dem screaming at each other n at other teams, or throwing tempers ard, or simply being rude...

Wow, it's so much fun bitching abt C&M tat i dint realise it was so late...
