Sawadika!!!!

Oh dear I can't believe I'm back in Singapore!

I didnt know 17 days can pass so quickly!

Really really miss the kids there... wonder how they are all doing now...

Cried badly on the last day. Me and some of the students whom I'm close with.

Goodbyes are so hard to say.

Although it was just a short 17-day stay, bonds and friendships with the students and teachers have been made, which I believe will last till the very end.

The life in Chiang Mai had been simple but fulfilling. It is very very very different from Singapore, and I seriously think our kids here are extremely fortunate because they have such luxurious environment to live in, as compared to the Thai kids. But nevertheless, the Thai kids are a bunch of happy lots, even though they are all hearing-impaired.

Communication with the hearing-impaired children and non-English speaking Thais are not as hard as I thought it would be. But surprisingly, communication with those who can hear and speak English turns out to be harder during the entire trip.

Unfortunately, conflicts arose and lines of divisions were drawn clearly over the days in the school. I'm sick and tired of tolerating all the shitty stuff that were thrown to the 6 of us by the 8 of them, and I'm disappointed with my so-called friends who called themselves leaders.

The truth is, they have failed as leaders and they have lost my respect for them as leaders and as friends.

Friendships are made, and some are broken. But I dun think it is a pity at all. At least I saw their true colours.

Frankly speaking, it was the children and teachers from the school that kept the 6 of us going, which was why the separation on the last day was so hard for me.

No pictures for now cos I'm super exhausted to upload. Plus some photos are with my friends and we're only exchanging next week when we meet up for dinner. So I guess photos have to wait till then!

I was so scared that she'd forget about me cos I was away for so long...but she was totally esctastic when she saw me... *hahah*
