Tats.

OMG.I'm supposed to be online searching for more info on the stupid Long March, but then Mao really pissed me off, so I decided to take a break. *haha*

Then I looked at BeBe, who's lying oh-so-carefreely on the floor beside me, accompanying me through the endless nong nong notes, when suddenly a dreadful and frightening thought came into my mind:

"What if one day she's gone? What can I do to keep a part of her in me?"

Then tattoos popped up in my mind. Tats are the only thing I can think of that can keep something permanently stuck on me.*haha*

Guess I'm deeply intrigued by Miami Ink, a show about six extremely talented tattoo artistes who opened a shop in Miami, and their stories were told through their different clients who come to get tats from them. Interesting, eh?

My personal fave is Ami James, one of the owners of the studio. He's tough and single. *haha* Not that I'm interested. But I mentioned he's single for the benefit of other people, like Lester.

Cool right? He's tough (oh ritey, i've mentioned he's tough before.) and cute, aint he? And this guy has got character. And talents in arts. And a sense of humour. And sexy. But he's got quite a temper. *wahaha*

I've been a fan of this show since season 1, and now they're already at season 2!! Which shows how successful and popular it is. Too bad it's only shown at cable TV. But dun fret, those who dint signed up for SCV. There's YouTube, you know?

Aniwae, I've been spending my nights recently watching Miami Ink. (i know, i'm supposed to be studying, but heck.) And I forgot which episode, made me wanna get a tat sooooo badly.

There's this guy who's really a dog-lover. His relationship with his dog, Calibre (see, I'm so engrossed that I actually remembered the doggie's name rather than its owner's.) is really strong, and he actually loved Calibre more than his gf! So much so that he decided to get a tat of Cal on his left arm. Superduper cool can!! Kat tattooed him, and the result was utterly unbelievable. She's so talented that it's like she's zapping Cal's face directly onto his arm!! It's like, a mirror reflection of the real Cal, but in ink (I tried finding that particularly pic so I can show u, but I can't).

Now that guy has got his most loyal companion with him wherever he goes, even if Cal suddenly drops dead one day *choy choy* but you know what I mean.

So!

I've made up my mind. I'm gg to save enough $$$ to fly over to the US one fine day and visit Kat and get her to do a small tat of BeBe on my, let's see, right side of the waist.

Maybe one day you lots will get to see MY own story on TV. *wahaha*

But I must finish my bond first. Will not risk offending the boss.

Aniwae, I must say that tattoos nowadays do not symbolise thugs, gangs or other negative images you can think of.

If you ask me, it's an art. It's a way to remember, to commemorate, to serve as a reminder, to act like a motto in one's life.

So dun go using tinted glasses to view someone who's got tats all over his body. See it as a way of exhibiting a piece of art work.

Even if that person is a yalam. Give him the benefit of doubt that he's got some artistic sense in him to get a tat done.
