A day's out with the kids...

Went down to Northlight early in the morning...

The kids were supposed to have class outing whereby they decide where they wanna go and what they wanna do.

And we must be there to help the teachers, but most importantly to interact with the kids who are quite hard to interact with at times. *tsk tsk*

Aniwae, I was attached to a class that wanted to go swimming at Katong... (?!?!?!?!?)

Dunno if I'm lucky or wad.

But it was an experience, though. *hehs*

Some classes went to East Coast Park and Pasir Ris Park to cycle and whatsnot...

And two classes decided to go PULAU UBIN.

*gasps*

Go there to feed the mozzies for free? No thanks.

Fortunately none of us had to go with that two, erm, unique classes. The PGDE ppl took care of it. *hehs*

Aniwae, something really scary happened at the pool when the kids were swimming.

This girl became unconscious IN the water less than 15 mins later.

The other kids thought she was playing with them. None of us teachers noticed anything wrong when suddenly her friends shouted.

That girl was totally knocked out and her face was facing down in the water. The lifeguard called out to two students to pull her over to the side of the pool (no, the lifeguard didnt jump in to save her when I thought he should.)

They pulled her up, but she was not breathing.

Her mouth and eyes were opened wide with no focus. It was like she was being possessed or something.

Scary.

The lifeguard tried to wake her up and get her to breathe.

Xie tian xie di, she started to cough up some water.

They then carried her to the sick bay, and everything went back to normal.

*sigh*

Luckily nothing happened to her and the kids later.

What a horrible experience.

Well, I think I got along pretty fine with the kids.

Some of them are REALLY friendly, while some of them are REALLY shy and quiet. But most of them are REALLY noisy.

*hahah*

There's dis boy who asked for my friendster and msn, and started telling me his life story.

Another boy thinks I'm cute. (?!?!?!)

*wahahahaha*

And a girl wants me to go watch movies with them.

*smirks*

After the swim, we got back to the school and the teachers ordered pizza for the kids.

While waiting for their lunch, they went to the Students' Centre to play Xbox, pool, watch TV and simply relax.

So shiok rite...

My friend and I paired up and we had a game of pool with two students.

We thrashed them badly.

*wahahahs*

They also have the basketball "machine" at one corner... If Hui and Celes were there, they'd be damn happy cos they can shoot endlessly (the games are all FOC).

Students nowadays are soooo blessed. *tsk tsk*

I STEPPED RIGHT ON A SUPERDUPER FAT LIZARD IN THE MIDDLE AND ITS TAIL CAME STRAIGHT OFF AND STUPID *&$*%^ LIZARD STARTED CHASING AFTER ME FOR FIVE FEET OR SO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm deeply traumatised okie!!!!!!!!!!

Nope, I wasnt sorrie for that sicko lizard and the pain that I induced on him. Or her.

I was DISGUSTED by the fact that my birkies actually had contact with such gross and irksome inhabitants.

And I was even MORE disgusted when the lizard actually got the 'face' to chase after me.

What the hell!

Am I to blame for your pathetic tail to get separated from your pathetic fatass body?

Blame yourself for showing in the middle of a broad daylight and crossed my path lah!

I'm still having goosebumps when I thought of it.

Things would be worse if it had crawled up on me.

I believe I'd go naturally mad that my hair became like Einstein's.

I'd also launch an anti-lizards campaign worldwide to gather strength and support to kill off all lizards, black or white or beige, fat or skinny, long or short, cute or not, so that our world can become a better one.

And then Mao and Hitler would be proud of me.

Maybe XX too. Cos I think she's not a fan of lizards too.
