Day One of My Not-Working Life

Yay!!! Finally can sleep in on a weekday le!!! *hahaz*

Especially when it was such a cooling weather to sleep in...

Went swimming with Xiang @ tampines... (Hui ps us lor!)

Finally got time to do some exercising... After all tat good food from my workplace, I believe I've gained some stubborn fats le... *sianz*

Did six laps, and was too tired to carry on... As for Xiang, he did countless laps, simply becoz he "swam" to n fro HALFWAY of the pool... Tell me, how to count the no. of laps???

Oh, did I mention he can't swim?? *raise eyebrows*

Nope, I dint.

Well, he can't realli swim well, but I think he has made some improvements today... *hahahz*

Met up with Celes @ TM after her skol...

Had lunch at KFC... I know, all those calories I've burnt from swimmin seemed wasted...

Shopped ard and bought a shirt from MNG + a book from Times...

I bought this for keepsake... I borrowed this title from the library, and found the story veri veri veri inspiring... I simply adore all the words n phrases used inside... It's a must-read for everyone... =)

Headed back to WS, shopped somemore (amazingly) and we felt thirsty n hungry once again...

Had a rest at the dunno-wad-it's-called hong kong style restaurant, and ordered some drinks and dessert...

Celes's Mango Ice.

OH. MY. GOSH!!!

It's fricking HUMONGOUS can!!!! We dio stunned when the waitress served it. (I planned to order the red bean flavour but dint... Luckily.)

See? It's even BIGGER than my face.

*tsk tsk*

My HK style Ice Milk Tea... served in a metal tin, which looks so familiarly like the ones used in prisons... Not tat I've been there, but you know wad I mean...

Xiang said it's becoz the hot topic now is Christopher Lee's hit-and-run case, so the restaurant muz follow the prison-theme... *ROLL EYES* He can't get any lamer than dis, can he???

Well, he can.

While happily savouring the gigantic mango ice, Xiang popped this question out of nowhere, which caused Celes & I to dio stunned for 3 seconds, and then laughed our heads off and getting stomach cramps...

"Why isnt there any corns in it???"

I dunno how his brain functions, but corns in MANGO ICE??? I know they both belong to the yellow category, but tat doesnt mean tat all yellow-coloured food muz be added into the ice, izzit????

It's delicious, it's yummy, it's spoon-licking good!! But I'd recommend all diners to wipe their spoons first b4 licking... They dint realli wash their utensils CLEANLY...

The two of them then went home with me...

I'm need to buy BeBe's mum mum, so I decided to drive to Farmway to get her snacks... And the two of them wanna sit my car n test my driving skills... *hahahz* And they havent been to the pet farm, so I decided to let them da kai yen jie (open their eyes wide)...

We saw lots n lots n lots of stray dogs, and some of them are in a realli realli pitiful sight...

There's one dog limping slightly, the body covered in bruises, and the most horrible thing is tat one of its eyes was missing... *sob sob*

So sad, right... I can't imagine wad kind of pain or ordeal it has gone thru to suffer those injuries...

It's quite depressing to watch those dogs lying ard, with flies buzzing ard their bodies, sleeping on dirty grounds and etc... I mean, you can sense from their eyes tat they are longing to have a nice and cosy home, and someone to care n pamper them... But I guess it's sth tat will be unlikely to happen to them... Who would want a big stray dog as a pet, when there are healthy-looking + diseases-free puppies for sale at the other corner???

Celes looked so sad at the sight in front of her... Tat goes to show one thing: she's got compassion... not like the one below:
